Ways to tie a bandana

You can tie a bandana in different ways, it all depends on your desire and imagination. A few examples to get you started:

  1. Classical. We fold a triangle out of the scarf, put the base on the forehead, and tie the ends at the back of the head, fill the remaining tip of the scarf at the back of the head.
  2. The feminine way. Form a triangle and tie it around the head. We leave the end of the bandana on top, hiding the bundle with it.
  3. "Hippie". A triangle is formed from the bandana, and is folded several times until a wide strip remains of it.We apply the center of the strip to the forehead and tie it around the head, forming a rim. Tuck the hanging ends over the resulting rim.
  4. Vice versa. In this case, the base of the bandana triangle is applied to the back of the head, and secured with a double knot in the middle of the forehead. The ends are fixed or tied in a bow.
  5. Pirate. Fold the bandana in half diagonally into a triangle. We apply the base to the forehead at the level of the eyebrows. The side ends are wrapped behind the head and connected into a knot. This is one of the favorite bandage options for boys.
  6. On the neck. In addition to the classic cowboy style of tying a bandana around the neck, there is another, no less stylish way. The bandana folds into a triangle. From the base, we begin to bend the bandana into a wide strip. We apply the center to the neck and, putting the long ends behind the neck, we cross them and bring them forward. It remains to tie the ends in two knots, and you're done.
  7. Wristband. We bend the bandana triangle several times, until a wide strip is formed. We put our hand on the strip and put its ends on the wrist, going one strip over the other by about a centimeter. The remaining ponytails can be hidden under the strip, or wrapped around the arm again and tied in a knot. You can also apply a bandage to your ankle in the same way.

Hairstyles with bandana

Hairstyles made using bandanas look nice.

It can be woven into a braid or twisted into a bun. And in order for the bandana not to slip off the head and hold the hair tightly, you can use invisible clips or clips. But the main factor will be how tightly you tie the knot.

Ponytail. We twist the bandana triangle into a tourniquet, and you do not need to try to pull it - a tourniquet that is too tight will look like a rope. Next, we tie up our tail and tighten the tourniquet from above. The ends can be left hanging free, or screwed into curls, or simply hidden behind a tourniquet.

Greek hairstyle. As for a ponytail, we make a tourniquet from a bandana, the only difference is that in this case, the denser the tourniquet, the tighter the hairstyle will hold. We tie it over the hair, as in the usual Greek hairstyle. The ends can be either tied in the form of a bow, or tucked into a tourniquet. Then we begin to thread the strands of hair and tuck under the tourniquet, continue until all the hair is collected.

Glamor. We collect the hair in a bun and pin it at the back of the head. Add volume to the hairstyle by combing the front. A bandana folded into a wide strip, starting from the back of the head, is carried out under the fleece and tied into a nice knot. The ends can be hidden or left hanging free.

Another delight of the bandana hairstyle is the pin-up style, where it is a decisive accent. The only downside is that for this look you need to be the owner of bangs. But given today's resourcefulness of girls, bangs can be created from your own tail.

So, a bandana is a versatile accessory. She can combine both a piece of clothing and jewelry. And it suits absolutely everyone, regardless of gender, age and appearance.
