Brown hair shades are at their peak. The choice of paint depends on its compatibility with the haircut, skin type and eye color. It is not difficult to learn the rules of dyeing at home and caring for the color of curls.

Who is it suitable for?

The color type has seasonal shades. Spring and autumn color types are reduced to warm tones, winter and summer include a cold range of colors. Each person can choose a suitable color. To determine your type, just look at the veins of the wrist: a greenish tint occurs in young ladies of a warm type, a bluish color indicates the presence of a cold variety.

Spring representatives are owners of white skin and light eyes. A golden hue is present in their hair, eyebrows and eyelashes. Summer type has brown or gray eyes, light and dark curls with an ash or silvery sheen, porcelain skin, to which natural tan does not adhere well.

TO autumn type include red-haired ladies with freckles, peach or slightly dark skin, with green, brown or gray eyes. Winter type inherent in dark-skinned black-eyed brunettes. Occasionally there are gray-eyed representatives of this type with a more delicate skin tone. The sandy shade of the hair can make it fantastic.

Naturalness to the image is given by a change in the natural color of the strands by 1-2 tones to a lighter or darker side. Light brown coloring is not recommended for burning brunettes. It is in perfect harmony with blue, green, gray and brown eyes.Black-eyed beauties should not resort to hair coloring in such tones.

For owners of dark skin, it is best to choose a darker color. Brunettes are recommended to add red notes when staining brown. The nutty sheen looks perfect on straight strands of black-browed dark-skinned women. A golden highlight gives brown-eyed beauties with olive skin romance and lightness.

With caution, you should resort to the use of golden highlights for ladies of the summer type. The golden tint is not suitable for pale-faced young ladies. The mocha shade goes well with the Slavic appearance. It gives the image elegance and aristocracy.

Light brown strands look wonderful on young ladies of the autumn type with beige or golden skin. The light brown range is amazingly suitable for the spring and summer type, but it is not recommended for winter beauties. Highlighting gives the strands the effect of hair burnt out under the scorching sun.

Tanned green-eyed beauties are recommended to have a cognac shade. Brown-eyed girls with fair skin are amazingly suited to the color of milk chocolate. He gives them naturalness and beauty. Business women tend to prefer the color of dark chocolate.

Dark brown hair tone brings brightness to the image. Intense colors go especially well with green and brown eyes. A dark color scheme emphasizes all the imperfections of the face, therefore, owners of light skin need to choose the appropriate shades for coloring their hair, otherwise the emphasis will be on wrinkles. If you use a color slightly lighter than the natural tone, then a rejuvenating effect is guaranteed for young ladies of mature age.

Owners of large facial features should be discarded from the ashy color, since the ashy color emphasizes all the flaws. However, it perfectly suits the cold type, which will give the effect of rejuvenation. Ash mop looks amazing in combination with white skin.

Variety of shades

No other color has such an abundance of shades as brown. The palette of brown notes is varied: from warm dark to delicate peach colors. Some reflections of a warm brown range can have a cold tint: metallic, frosty, golden and silvery blotches.

Hair dye, regardless of the manufacturer, has a tone number. Starting from one, increasing numbers indicate a transition from a very dark color to a lighter shade. The number "1" means black, and the last number in the numbering fixes a rich blond. The intermediate numbers show the shades in descending order: from burning black to very light colors.

A digit after a comma, hyphen or period indicates about the saturation of the coloring agent and the presence of suitable pigments:

  • 1 - sand or ash reflections;
  • 2 - green note with pearl shimmer;
  • 3 - gold and golden reflections;
  • 4 - reddish or copper flare;
  • 5 - reddish sheen.

Zero indicates the naturalness of the pigment. Seven is extremely rare in light brown tones. It usually shows the presence of a reddish brown pigment.

Paints with unexpected new highlights often appear on the market. Hair dyed in auburn color with a magnificent red shimmer gives the image a unique and elegant look. The combination of dark chocolate and caramel tones looks luxurious. Mixing the darkest color # 1 with an adjacent tone can create a stunningly rich chestnut color.

To obtain a natural color, the following points must be taken into account:

  • curls are ready for new coloring after discoloration or complete rinsing of the previous color;
  • special attention should be paid to the structure of the hair.

Staining rules

You cannot mix coloring agents from different manufacturers, since this way you can provide not the result that you would like to see. The required color is obtained by mixing paint with a difference of 1-2 tones. The degree of staining is determined by the time of exposure to the paint, the type of curls. It will take about 180 ml to dye long hair, 120 ml will be needed for an average length, a short haircut will be limited to 60 ml of the product.

Dilute the paint exclusively in glass, porcelain or plastic dishes. Metal cups cannot be used. Due to a kind of contact with air, the paint becomes unsuitable for staining half an hour after mixing, therefore, the agent must be applied immediately.

Getting a beautiful golden hue is possible only if there is a triple behind a comma, a hyphen or a dot in the tone numbering on the tube. Before dyeing it in ash color, you need to lighten your hair. Sometimes a green tint appears, but in this case, using a golden balm will help.

There are also folk methods for dyeing hair with natural dyes:

  • it is necessary to dilute henna and basma, their proportion should be 2: 1, the mass is kept on the head for about an hour (all hair washing products are used no earlier than in a day);
  • a golden sheen is obtained as a result of thorough washing of the head with chamomile tincture: a tablespoon of dried flowers is poured with a glass of hot water;
  • due to rinsing the hair with onion husks, golden, brown, copper shades are obtained - the longer the husk is kept, the darker the tide will be;
  • A light brown shade is achieved by pouring a tablespoon of finely chopped rhubarb root with cool water, boiling it for 15 minutes and adding 3 tablespoons of vinegar (in parallel, the liquid will help get rid of excess oily hair);
  • a tablespoon of tea or coffee is poured with boiling water, after half an hour it is applied to the head and kept for 15 to 45 minutes, depending on the desire to get a slightly or too rich tone.

Color care

After staining, the pigment is fixed within two days. It is undesirable to wash your hair during this period. Yellowness is very quickly washed off from the hair, so periodic use of golden balm is necessary. Hair restoration products can be taken after 2 weeks, otherwise the coloring pigment may be washed off.

Herbal rinsing is recommended. A decoction of chamomile flowers works well. It should be noted that it can change the shade of light hair, as chamomile makes hair yellow. In these cases, its weak consistency is used. The copper tint gives the hair hibiscus tea. Its strong infusion is recommended for redheads and girls with copper notes of colored strands. Owners of dark brown hair are advised to use black tea or coffee when washing their hair. It must be remembered that all procedures are completed by rinsing with clean water.
