Blondes have always been considered the standard of femininity and tenderness. Probably, there is no woman who has never thought about lightening her hair. Such staining requires accuracy and care, but the result always looks very impressive.

Peculiarities

Hair dyeing in a light color is accompanied by stress for the curls, since in order to obtain the desired color, you have to completely or partially neutralize the dyeing pigment inside the hair shaft. To do this, you have to use special chemical compositions that loosen the keratin layer, which protects the curls from the aggressive effects of external factors, and maintains the required level of moisture.

As a result, the strands lose their shine, become "straw" to the touch, and the tensile strength decreases markedly, which leads to brittleness and cross-section. If a woman tries to transform from a brunette to a blonde for a single stain, the end result will be very deplorable - a dull tow will appear on her head, which is difficult to comb, impossible to lay and unpleasant to touch. Often, too much discoloration will damage the hair follicle and cause hair loss.

It should be noted that this is not the only lightening problem. If the native mop had warm shades - red, chestnut or wheat, then after bleaching the hair acquires a cheap yellow tint. To fix it, you have to resort to additional toning using persistent coloring compositions.

The choice of a light shade should be approached with caution, the age of a woman does not play any role here, but the color type must be taken into account. So ladies with a "warm" type are distinguished by dark skin and dark hair, honey, wheat, gold and light brown shades are suitable for them. But young ladies with fair skin and hair should opt for “cold” tones of ash, platinum or pearl.

If the shade was chosen correctly, then the woman will receive several advantages of blondes at once:

  • blond - it is a natural natural shade that never goes out of fashion and does not lose its relevance, unlike all other hair color solutions;
  • additional volume - even the thinnest hair in a light version becomes more luxuriant and thick;
  • refreshing action - it has long been known that a face framed with light strands looks younger and more attractive.

Stylists do not recommend lightening dark-skinned women with dark coarse hair, in this case, the blond will look extremely unnatural, and the staining procedure itself is fraught with a number of problems. Keep in mind that the darker the native shade, the more difficult it is to achieve a pure light color, as a rule, black curls are first bleached with a 9% oxidizer (for comparison, a 6% concentration of the active substance is used on light and blond hair) - it is a more aggressive formulation that causes hair to break down, causing dryness and brittleness.

If the strands were initially depleted or discoloration occurred in violation of the instructions, then such staining is fraught with loss of strands and the need for prolonged treatment of the hair and scalp.

Light shades are not recommended for owners of pale, painful skin - in this case, girls will need to apply complex multi-layered makeup to even out the complexion. Ladies with acne, pimples and other skin problems are also not recommended light shades. Faces with a large number of moles in this color do not look very good - since, framed by white strands, from afar, they can look like black dots.

There are several options for coloring in light colors. Depending on the color of the blond, it can be:

  • platinum or ash - for those with pale skin;
  • light blond or honey - for slightly tanned skin;
  • light chestnut - for dark-skinned women.

It is imperative to take into account the color of a woman's eyes, for example, copper, wheat and golden shades are well combined with greens, for blue, platinum or pearl shades should be preferred, and for brown, caramel shades and the color of coffee with milk will be the best option.

    For many years, women who dream of becoming blondes have resorted to multi-color dyeing, when all hair was lightened with paint in one light tone. This technique has many disadvantages:

    • injures hair, since the chemical composition acts on all strands without exception;
    • with self-coloring, uneven distribution of paint is possible and, as a result, the finished colors will also turn out to be "clumpy";
    • the technique does not create overflows of color and glare on the strands, and therefore the curls look dull in most cases.

    In addition, if the native hair color is dark, then after a week the roots are noticeable, which look aesthetically pleasing and require constant correction, which significantly injures the hair follicles.

    To minimize all these negative effects of lightening, stylists have created several more progressive dyeing techniques, which have been very popular among the fair sex in recent years. Dyeing with dark roots - in this case, a darker crown has turned from a sign of neglect into a stylish trend. The hair begins to dye, retreating from the roots by 3-5 cm, while along the entire length a soft transition is created from dark at the crown to light at the ends. This technique has many advantages - the hairstyle becomes more luxuriant, even the roughest facial features are smoothed out, the paint acts sparingly, and this color scheme requires adjustments no more than 3 times a year.

    Balayage dyeing has become very fashionable in recent years - this is a French technique in which the dye composition is applied to individual strands with sweeping movements - this allows you to create the effect of sun-bleached hair, as well as delicate golden highlights that make the shock more lively and light.

    Traditional highlighting is also perfect for women who dream of lightening their hair by 3-4 tones, but do not dare to take radical actions. In this embodiment, individual strands are captured and treated with a dye composition, while the clarification can be frequent, rare or zonal.

    Separately, we should dwell on the features of lightening short hair, it is quite difficult to create an ombre, balayazh or shatush, therefore, owners of short haircuts resort to full dyeing, most often in platinum tones, which look perfect on pixies and other shortened hairstyles.

    How can you paint?

      Nowadays, many hair lightening technologies have been invented, but, unfortunately, a completely safe one has not yet been created, so women have to choose between weak and more significant damage. In this case, it should be well understood that the softer the drug acts, the fewer tones can be “washed off” from the head. The maximum effect can be achieved with the use of decolouring agents and washes. They are used before staining with persistent paints that differ by a couple of tones from the original color of the strands, otherwise it is impossible to achieve purity. The range of such drugs today is represented by the following.

      • Brightening powders - they are mainly used in salons, they contain a special purple pigment, which avoids the yellowing effect. The advantages of the powder lie in its high efficiency - the hair is quickly lightened by 7-8 tones, however, risks are also associated with the same feature of the composition. If the substance is not diluted correctly and the recommended exposure time is violated, the hair becomes dry and becomes brittle and lifeless.
      • Brightening gel - This is a novelty on the cosmetic market that allows you to lighten hair, but does not contain ammonia in its composition. Discoloration occurs under the action of hydrogen peroxide in combination with thermal effects, but in this case, you can lighten the curls by no more than 2 tones, and if we are talking about colored hair, then gels are not at all effective.
      • Washes - this is one of the most harmless solutions for lightening hair with a minimum content of oxidizing components, due to which the keratin layer is slightly destroyed. Such a tool almost does not give discoloration on natural curls, but for previously colored ones it becomes a real find.

      You need to choose a product suitable for lightening, focusing on the condition of the hair. If they are thin and damaged, then it is better to abandon the powder in favor of the gel.

      • For owners of naturally light hair, ammonia dyes can be a good composition for lightening. - they are ideal if you need to change the color by no more than a couple of tones. Thanks to ammonia, keratin scales are loosened, and the darker pigment is quickly washed out. In fact, such paints simultaneously decolorize and tint, replacing the original pigment with the selected one.
      • To lighten hair, tint balms are often used, they have a short-term effect, while they do not lighten the hair, but simply give the desired shade.Most often, balms are used to neutralize the yellowness of blond hair, which is the result of exposure to sunlight, smoking and poor-quality water.
      • Safer lightening options are considered natural formulations using folk recipes. They act softly, lighten by no more than 1-1.5 tones, but do not destroy the hair.
        1. Of all the remedies, rinsing with chamomile decoction is the most popular, for this, 2 tablespoons of herbs are poured with 500 ml of boiling water, insisted for half an hour and poured over the head after each hair wash.
        2. Rinsing with lemon juice is in no way inferior to chamomile rinsing, the acid tends to destroy the pigment and make the curls a little lighter, however, such a composition often irritates the scalp and, with regular use, dries the hair a little.
        3. Honey is also distinguished by a slight lightening effect, but only women with a lot of free time can resort to such a remedy - you need to keep the mask on your hair for at least 6 hours, and this is not always pleasant.
        4. Women with light-colored hair can use masks based on milk serum and kefir - they eliminate yellowness and make the shade cooler.

      Painting at home

      Any coloring in light shades is best done in the salon. Only the master can choose the right shades, taking into account the color of the native head of hair, in addition, the professional assesses the condition of the hair and, depending on this, selects the dye composition and adjusts the exposure time. At home, any experiments with bleaching often result in hair damage.

      If you are firmly confident in your abilities, then you can try at home such techniques as shatush, highlighting and balayage - they are good for long and medium hair. In this case, individual strands taken in a chaotic manner are lightened. At the same time, shade transitions are created on the hair, and any errors in the application of coloring compositions are almost invisible to others.

      The most popular option for lightening at home is highlighting - in this case, a hat with holes is put on the head, through which thin strands are pulled out with a hook and painted in the desired color. It is quite easy to make a balayage on the head - for this, the dye composition is applied to the hair, without affecting the root zone, for a quarter of an hour, after which the paste is swept away with a comb to the ends of the hair and kept for another 25-30 minutes. Shatush is done with the help of strokes - the hair is divided into separate strands, combed well, and then paint is applied in small movements in a chaotic manner from the ends to the middle of the hair.

      Most often, a woman can cope with such stains even on her own without outside help.

      For short hair, choose monochrome coloring - for this, the paint is diluted and, in accordance with the instructions, is applied to the hair, evenly dyeing all the strands. In this case, it is better to ask a friend for help, otherwise the staining on the back of the head may turn out to be uneven. Do not forget that bleached hair must be properly cared for.

      • Preference should be given to professional shampoos labeled "for bleached hair". They contain purple pigments that prevent the appearance of unaesthetic yellowness on the curls.
      • Hair masks, serums and oils should be used at least once a week.
      • Try to limit the use of a hot hair dryer, curling iron and irons, and it is better to wash your hair with warm, almost cool water.
      • Heat exposure is harmful to the hair, in addition, it washes out the color, as a result, toning gradually fades away.
