"Comfortable like slippers" - they say about comfortable shoes. Sneakers are sometimes even more comfortable. Many sports are still unthinkable without them. It is unlikely that when you go outside, you will not see at least one passer-by in these casual shoes.

Sneakers often become an integral part of the fashion shows of famous designers.

History

The ancestors of modern sneakers were canvas shoes, which we now only know from historical novels. The rubber-toe shoes were quite uncomfortable, with no distinction between right and left feet, but this was a breakthrough in the shoe craft, and these shoes began to be used everywhere. Nothing new - even now we sometimes sacrifice convenience in order to look fashionable. Later, spikes were added to future sneakers, and only then these shoes began to be used for sports, and specialized types of sneakers were made for each type.

From sports to everyday life and wardrobe, sneakers migrated in the 50s of the last century, for two reasons: sublime - in imitation of the idol of "beatniks" and dandy actor James Dean, and prosaic - a lower price compared to classic leather shoes. Now the accents have shifted again, and a pair of sneakers from a well-known brand cannot be called cheap, but nowadays one can hardly even single out a group of people who would not wear these versatile, comfortable, stylish "slippers".

Components

Completely different, all types of sneakers have common components:

  • top - depends on the purpose of the shoe and the designer's imagination;
  • midsole - the middle component, located between the upper and the sole, performing shock-absorbing functions; athletes often cite it as the most important part of a running shoe;
  • insole - removable or fixed, has a moisture-absorbing purpose, and also plays the role of an additional depreciation component;
  • sole with applied protector, which must correspond to the purpose of the sneaker;
  • backdrop designed to fix the foot in the back.

Models

Today, the range of sneakers is quite wide. Types of sneakers can be conditionally divided into several groups.

What to wear with?

As for sports, everything is clear here - sneakers are selected exactly for the kind for which they are intended.

Sneakers for every day are currently striking with a variety of colors and models. The main thing when choosing them as shoes is to follow a few simple rules:

  • sports shoes will make any look easier, so you should not dress up in "all the best at once"; if color predominates in your outfit, then the style of clothing should be as simple as possible, if the sneakers are monochromatic, then the outfit can be more intricate;
  • try to make sneakers part of the whole image or its only accent;
  • remember that even shocking is good when it is designed in the same style, so if you have leather sneakers and a slip dress, then support the shoe material with some other leather accessories.

The classic option is sneakers and jeans or sports cut shorts. Now the standard street look includes a combination of such shoes with summer capri pants or breeches made of thin cotton.Sneakers with dresses or skirts in casual style below the knee are perfect for each other. Be careful to combine only those outfits that can visually "cut" the legs, for example, culottes and high-top sneakers.

The black and white range is universal. Inversion is always in fashion, and having black and white sneakers in your wardrobe will create very interesting and stylish looks.

White sneakers also allow you to try out tons of different options and combinations with colored clothes. The only condition will be their absolute purity.

Recently, no one has been surprised by the combination of a dress with a feminine silhouette or a fluffy skirt and rude-looking sneakers with legs. New look has the right to life if the image is balanced and the waist is emphasized.

Neat graceful sneakers with clothes in linen style look interesting.

The original version is obtained by combining high wedge sneakers with mini-dresses.

Rough leather sneakers with a floor-length boho dress look shocking, but very stylish.

Winter models are perfect for a down jacket or even a short fur coat, especially if it is made of multi-colored fur.

In cold weather, try a combination of a long oversized sweater, leather leggings and high-top winter sneakers.

The main thing in wearing sneakers, as in any other case, is to know when to stop, you still should not wear such shoes to a debutante ball or to an office with a strict business dress code, although there are exceptions here, especially if you look at celebrities:

  • Rihanna;
  • Cara Delevingne;
  • Kristen Stewart.

Cnanel proves that a modern woman's business suit may well include stylish sneakers, all that remains is to find a leader who, in his idea of the dress code, will take into account the opinion of Chanel.
