Ideas for creating a manicure with hieroglyphs

What modern designers and fashionistas will not come up with, trying to stand out and express themselves. Moreover, more and more often they turn to eastern countries with their unusual and mysterious culture. Manicure, when forming an image in an oriental style, also cannot be ignored, and sometimes you can harmoniously fit it into everyday style. The hieroglyphs on the nails for this will come in handy - among them you can find the most simple ones, or those that will tell the world about your mood, thoughts or dreams.

Design

You can do such a manicure yourself or from a master - it all depends on the complexity of the idea. All that is required is a thin brush or needle, background varnish, contrasting varnish for the drawing, and a clear fixing coat. If necessary, you can also apply a base for a manicure and give preference to gel polish - it lasts much longer than usual.

If you don't want to waste time on a salon, but you can't portray a complex drawing or there is nothing, you can use special stickers... In the absence of the necessary ones in stores, you can also purchase special adhesive paper for the printer and print the desired pattern. After printing, you will need to cut it out, stick it on your nails and be sure to cover it on top with a transparent fixer. Otherwise, the stickers will quickly come off the base coat and get lost.

A manicure is, of course, not a tattoo, but walking for several weeks with an erroneous inscription is not a good option. Therefore, be sure to check the meaning of the inscription you want to make in the reference book or with an orientalist. Even the use of ready-made stickers or pictures for printing does not guarantee that their manufacturers did not misspelling.

The main hieroglyphic systems that are suitable for manicure design are Chinese, Egyptian and Maya. There are also two Japanese syllabic alphabets that are familiar to all fans of anime and Japanese films, but some people just unknowingly call them hieroglyphs. In fact, in Japan and Korea, they also use hieroglyphs, but these are the same Chinese, and the rest are their own alphabets.

Types of hieroglyphs

Chinese

Chinese characters are perhaps the most popular writing characters of this kind. For any souvenir product, design, single hieroglyphs are most often chosen, which denote concepts such as love, luck, wealth, health, etc. But if you wish, you can make up whole sentences or individual words by placing each hieroglyph on a separate finger. To do this, you just need to understand the simple rules of Chinese grammar or ask a specialist to translate.

An interesting option would be to choose several hieroglyphs-amulets at once or add stylized drawings. For example, it can be a Chinese dragon, panda, black and white symbol of Taoism "yin-yang". Traditional flowers that can also be used are lotus, peony, sakura, red poppy. Of the shades, it is best to choose gold, red, black and green.

Japanese

As we have already said, this is usually called either all the same Chinese characters, or syllabic alphabets. Unlike hieroglyphs, the alphabet has fewer features, so it is easier to apply them on the nails, but few of them denote a whole word with one sign. Therefore, such a manicure will have to be carefully thought out and, possibly, broken into several nails.

At the same time, nails can be decorated with sakura, irises, mountain maple or contour landscapes in the form of mountains and moonlit nights. And the red circle on a white background will become the image of not just the flag of Japan, but the solar disk in the sky. You can also use special polymer miniatures, which are sold in specialized stores. Such miniatures in the form of sushi or other Japanese attributes will work well too.

Japanese characters are also not so difficult to make. You can verify this by watching the video.

Egyptian

The hieroglyphs of the ancient Egyptians are well known to everyone. Many have at least once traveled to sunbathe on the beach, swim in the sea or ride in the desert in the land of the pyramids. And there these badges can be found not only on monuments, but also in souvenir shops. But don't trust the explanations of meaning from local traders or the "alphabet" bookmarks they sell. Check at least Wikipedia for a detailed list of all the main characters with examples of words in which they were used.

Egyptian hieroglyphs are very colorful, many of them resemble a pattern or drawing. They are most often very simple, so it is easy to draw them yourself. You can also mix signs with images of gods, sacred animals or the original ornaments of Ancient Egypt. It will be especially suitable to use the traditional colors of the Egyptians - yellow, gold, deep blue, purple, red, dark green, brown.

Mayan

This writing is even more like pictures than Egyptian hieroglyphs, so it was not considered a writing at first. Now it has been deciphered, so there are no problems with the selection of suitable signs and the translation of their meaning into Russian. Mayan hieroglyphs are much less known in the vastness of our country than Egyptian and Chinese, and differ in their original outline. But it is precisely at the expense of the latter that they attract the attention of those who are at least a little familiar with the history of America.

At first, you might think that among the Mayan hieroglyphs there is nothing aesthetic and suitable for wearing such a pattern all day long. However, if you delve deeper into the topic, you can find not only specific faces of gods and terrible creatures, but also cute patterns that form some hieroglyphs. There are quite simple ones that can be drawn with a thin brush or a needle, there are very complex ones - if desired, they can be printed in the form of stickers.

They can also be purchased in Latin American countries or ordered from an online store. Traditional colors for such a manicure are black, ocher, light brown, dark brown, white, yellow, gray-blue. Matte shades are used more often and gold is sometimes added. This flavor is best suited to the Mayan culture.
