Digest of events of the final week of IRISH WEEK 2021

The legendary annual Irish Week festival continues in Moscow and St. Petersburg and awaits guests until March 28. The first film screenings, the St. Patrick's Day and Night Folk Festival and the family program were sold out, but in the second week of the festival there will be something to surprise fans of Irish culture.

On March 26 at 19:00 the best dance groups in Moscow will share their explosive energy and beauty with the audience as part of the St. Patrick "s Dance Parade" on the stage of the concert hall "MIR". The dance show will be accompanied by a live concert program of musicians from the Lost Temple Brothers, in whose hands Irish folk musical instruments come to life. And those who come to the festival in advance right in the foyer of the concert hall at an open master class will be taught the movements of various types of Irish dance.

In honor of the opening of its own online cinema in Moscow at the Irish Film Festival on March 25, the exclusive premiere of the project about contemporary Irish musical culture "PLAYBACK" will take place. After watching the film, the director of the festival Anna Gryaznova and the creator of the podcast about popular music "Fan Zone" Anna Chekareva will discuss the launch of an online cinema on the website irishweek.ru, on the platform of which CIS residents will be able to watch "PLAYBACK", as well as discuss the music of Ireland, new online -formats of cinema and musical events. On March 27, children and their parents will have a unique opportunity to see the animated fairy tale "The Legend of the Wolves" in Russian dubbing on the huge screen of the premiere hall of the "October" cinema center. Lovers of romantic stories, beautiful star couples and Irish landscapes will see the comedy Wild Couple starring Emily Blunt (The Devil Wears Prada) and Jamie Dornan (50 Shades of Gray) on March 27.

The last week of the film festival will delight the residents of St. Petersburg with a brutal comedy about Irish guys "Boys", a dramatic story of two sisters "Out of the Fire into the Fire", a collection of short films from Ireland, consisting of light and joyful sketches from the life of various people, as well as a documentary portrait of the life of by Sean Hillen in Tomorrow is Saturday.
