"Sad" Irina Shayk became the face of Vogue magazine
The new issue of the Greek edition was named Human after all. The issue is dedicated to 2020, which radically changed the world. Three girls were invited as models for the cover: Irina Shayk, Joan Smalls and Candice Swanepoel. They perfectly understood the topic of the issue and appeared natural to the readers.
Without make-up and photoshop
The models were shot for the magazine with practically no makeup and the photos were not processed in Photoshop. They showed themselves as they are: tender and defenseless in the face of the problems that affected the whole world, but at the same time they demonstrated inner strength.
The models also talked about how important it is to be activists - this is the strength that every person has to do good deeds.
Such deep and sensual photographs were taken by photographer Rowan Pepier. It seems that he was able to portray what he wanted. The models appeared before us in a new light.
Earlier, the Russian model Shayk took photographs in a home style: she was wearing ugg boots and no makeup. Fans really liked this image, they called the model the most natural in the world. You can be beautiful not only with makeup and branded clothes.
