We go east: stylists noted that modern fashion is increasingly striving for oriental traditions

A unique trend was noted by stylists who analyzed the latest world fashion shows - from Paris Fashion Week to Al Arabia Fashion Days - Arab motives in clothing literally burst into women's everyday life.

Mini-skirts are replaced by elongated models, or even skirts to the floor, to replace tight-fitting dresses - wide and rather loose tunics and robes embroidered with ornaments and bugles or rhinestones. This is reminiscent of the tale of Aladdin's lamp.

Oriental motifs, demonstrating luxury, are persistently knocking into everyday women's fashion. The most popular materials this season are silk, velvet and organza - traditional fabrics for oriental beauties. More and more often, dresses can be seen with the Persian ikat pattern or its variations.

Increasingly, women wear headscarves. At the same time, Muslim women have learned to combine the hijab with high-heeled shoes, and the traditional abaya with ripped jeans. The rest are adopting only certain elements of oriental fashion - wide organza shawls, bright and catchy jewelry.

Fashion historian Alexander Vasiliev stated that Islamization of the entire fashion industry is coming... And Muslim abayas have already entered the collections of Dolce and Gabbana, and fashion designer Michael Cinco, who is famous for his fabulous outfits in the style of the Arabian night, is already dressing Jennifer Lopez, Lady Gaga, Mariah Carey and many other stars.

And experts believe that this is just the very beginning.

In the last century, women's fashion strove for frankness, with each decade, women became more and more naked, and, apparently, the ultimate moment of oversaturation has come. And now you won't surprise and interest anyone with short, transparent dresses and skirts and even their absence.

But some mystery, which does not open everything for everyone to see, now, on the contrary, is becoming fashionable.

Fashion experts advise you to remember how quickly the oriental turban won the love of women, which ladies now combine even with rocker jackets-leather jackets, feathers and pom-poms. The next step is for abaya, experts say. It goes well with sneakers, shoes, and jackets.

Abaya is a traditional Arab woman's long dress with sleeves and no belt. In national culture, it is intended to be worn in public places. The dress is often decorated with embroidery, beads, rhinestones.

Already, abaya is often found on women who are not Muslim, and soon fashion for such a dress will also appear on city streets, stylists are sure.
