A woman from Texas sews pads herself and has already saved 150,000 rubles
Many of us are trying to save money - Makayla Kane from Texas, mother of 4 children is no exception. But, besides the question of economy, there is another reason why the woman decided to sew the spacers herself. Since adolescence, she has experienced discomfort when using them.
They make a characteristic sound when you have to peel off the gasket - Makayla did not like this when she changed them in the school toilet.

Makayla also disliked the ineffectiveness of in-store pads and tampons - they were leaking. When she was 16, despite the presence of a pad, it leaked, and the girl had to wrap a jacket around her waist.
“When I was in school, I was very nervous and tried not to go to the school toilet,” says Makayla.
Previously, like all girls, she used pads and tampons, but one day she realized that there was an alternative to this. At the age of 27, Makaila began to sew reusable pads and, according to estimates, she saved about 150,000 rubles on the purchase of store pads.
She is pleased with another fact - such a solution, in addition to convenience, is environmentally friendly! The girl shares her feelings: “It's so easy! As if you are wearing a cloud. " In addition to pads, Makayla also sews reusable diapers and promotes her idea on TikTok.
However, not everyone supports the girl's idea. Some people think that reusable diapers and panty liners are terrible. Many people say that they would not walk with such pads.
Makayla herself says that her daughters (Orby and Gracie) will not be forced to use ecological hygiene products - they will choose what to wear when they grow up.
