Celebrities decided to rethink Karl Lagerfeld's white shirt

He will be remembered just like that - in a traditional white shirt. It was the favorite clothes of fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld, and it is with him that many associate it. Always an impeccably clean, ironed and starched white shirt was the hallmark of the fashion maestro.

Now is the time to give the white shirt a new "sound". So the celebrities decided. The White Shirt project kicks off in the fall under the official name A Tribute to Karl: The White Shirt Project.

More than two dozen people will take part in it, whose names never leave the pages of the tabloids. And they intend to present their own vision of a white shirt in memory of the designer.

Under the guidance of stylist Karin Roitfeld, who for a long time worked in the same team with Karl, Diana Kruger, Kate Moss, Cara Delevingne, Alessandro Michele, Sebastian Zhondo, Takashi Murakami and many others will take to the podium. Everyone is in white shirts.

The designer's memory project, according to the stars, will help pay tribute to the memory of the great master and his main masterpiece. The project will be charitable. All funds that can be raised for the sale of tickets, as well as from photo sessions of celebrities in white shirts, will be transferred charitable foundations to fight poverty and funds to help sick children.

Seven variations of the shirt will be produced in 77 copies and sold for 777 euros per copy. The funds will go to a medical research fund, which Karl helped for a long time.

Karl Lagerfeld himself considered the number "7" lucky for himself. He lived in house number 7, loved with all his heart the seventh Parisian arrondissement, he established bookstores on the rue de Lille in house number 7.

Now the British brand Hilditch & Key is engaged in sewing shirts for the action.

The fashion designer passed away in February of this year at the age of 85.
