Nowadays, girls can easily change their image by simply dyeing their hair and making a haircut. This article will focus on the caramel color of curls, what type of girls it suits, and how to achieve the desired shade.

Who is it for?

The caramel color is very beautiful, has many shades - from milk to chocolate, and is considered universal, as it suits almost any type of appearance:

  • ladies with light and dark skin;
  • with green, blue and brown eyes.

It is believed that girls with very white skin and those with dark or very light eyes should not be dyed into caramel. Of course, in each case, the approach must be individual. So, if you have dark skin, it makes sense to try darker shades of caramel, light-skinned blondes and brown-haired women will do well with light, milky, and dark tones.

When dyeing, it is important to observe the measure and maintain harmony with the color of the eyebrows and eyelashes.

The difficulty lies in the fact that it is very difficult to achieve long-term staining, it is advisable to carry out the cosmetic procedure in professional salons using high-quality products. But even this does not give you a guarantee that your beautiful hair color will stay with you for a long time. Periodically, you will have to refresh the shade of the curls.

How do you get the color you want?

When choosing a new shade for your hair consult a professional hairdresser. It is easiest to dye light and thin curls - the color after dyeing is almost identical to that stated on the paint package.

If you have dark hair, consider whether you want a shade of light caramel.Indeed, to obtain such a tone, you will most likely have to go through the bleaching procedure first, and only then staining. In addition, dark roots will quickly grow back, and they will need to tint regularly and too frequent manipulation of hair coloring negatively affects their health. Choose a color for your dark hair to sparkle in the sun.

If you want to briefly change your image, it makes sense to use tinted shampoos or toners. Their effect will last until several washes, and you can judge whether this tone suits you or not. If you like it, you can decide on long-term staining.

Of course, you can try to dye the curls at home, folk remedies. It is also useful, because simultaneously with dyeing, you nourish your hair with biologically active substances that are part of natural remedies.

Here are some natural colors that give a caramel hue:

  • a mixture of henna and turmeric (ratio 1: 1), if desired, the proportions can be changed to achieve a more reddish tone;
  • a decoction of chopped rhubarb root;
  • a mixture of sage broth with henna.

These coloring emulsions work the stronger the longer you keep them on your hair. Therefore, if you just want to shade your natural color, wash off the coloring composition after 20 minutes. To obtain brighter and more saturated tones (especially if you have strong and coarse hair), keep it longer.

Staining techniques

You can dye your hair not only completely, from roots to ends, but also partially. To date, many techniques of partial staining are known, we will consider some of them.

  • Balayazh. With this method, individual strands are painted, and the roots are not touched. The order is chaotic, the shade is selected slightly lighter than the main color. Dyeing in several colors is often used, with a smooth transition from one to another. This technique allows you to visually increase the volume of curls. It is used for dyeing hair of medium and long length.
  • Ombre. Hair is dyed from the middle of the length, as it approaches the ends of the curls, increasing the intensity of the dye.
  • Highlighting. Individual strands are dyed along the entire length of hair growth. The most advantageous option is when the strands to be dyed are very thin, literally a dozen hairs each.

Partial staining should only be entrusted to a professional. Also, do not forget that dyed curls require special care. Make nourishing hair masks, protect them from exposure to ultraviolet radiation and cold, apply thermal protection when styling with a curling iron or blow-drying. When washing, use conditioners and balms, because the staining procedure is, in fact, a gross interference with the internal structure of your curls, and therefore it is very important to keep them healthy, beautiful and shiny when changing the image.
