Models

Originally, the parka model was produced as a uniform for American military pilots, it was supposed to be comfortable, warm and wind-resistant. As a basis, the designers took Eskimo clothes soaked in fish oil to make them waterproof. In the future, as is usually the case with army uniforms, parks began to be worn not only by pilots, but also by civilians of both sexes.

The classic colors of modern parkas are khaki, sand, green, black, cherry, and, of course, blue. The traditional fit includes a knee length or slightly higher, a hood and many additional elements such as pockets, buttons, zippers and drawstrings.

Parkas are sewn mainly from coarse durable materials, which ensures the special practicality of such products.

Nevertheless, modern parka jackets are representatives not only of the classic style direction, but there are also sports models, as well as glamorous and even luxurious ones.

Warm blue parkas of a sports type differ from the classic ones only in a shorter length, here the length to the middle of the thigh is more common. If a hood is present, it is usually comfortable, deep, often insulated with fur. There can be a convertible hood that can be folded into two halves with a vertical zipper and turns into a wide collar.

As for the glamorous blue parkas, there are decorative elements such as frills, flounces, bows, decorative cords, zippers with rhinestones, as well as shiny shimmery dusting on fabrics. You can often find a combination of the main material of a parka jacket with leather elements, as well as with long-haired fur, for example, a fox or raccoon.

Season

Blue is a pretty versatile color - great for both winter and fall and cold spring. If initially parks were created exclusively as an item of winter wardrobe, now such jackets without lining, or even without sleeves, are worn even in summer. Summer options are usually sewn from natural materials, mainly cotton. Stylish blue parka vests with a drawstring at the waist can be made from denim or fleece, they are very much loved by young teenage girls.

Autumn parkas are usually made from durable moisture-resistant fabrics with a thin lining or no lining at all. Fur, if present, is, as a rule, loose artificial, and it is located only in the hood and on the back approximately to the waist. Beige and brown fur goes well with a blue parka.

The winter parks of most European manufacturers are designed for mild winters; they will be comfortable in central Russia. But for residents of the northern regions and the Far East, you need to choose parkas designed for frost.

Better to pay attention to manufacturers from Canada, Sweden, Denmark and Finland.

Nordic fashion designers from famous brands are constantly developing new and improved materials that are resistant to low temperatures and moisture, but, despite this, are light and thin. High quality membrane fabric is the best that a winter sports park can be made of.

In addition to high-tech modern fabrics, winter parkas can also be made from classic woolen materials - cloth, vigogne, drape, velor and others.

The classic version of a winter women's parka in blue is a model below the thigh with a quilted lining containing modern synthetic filling, or lined with light faux fur. Elongated winter parkas make good competition for down jackets. The winter parka has an inflated stand-up collar that covers the lower part of the face from frost, as well as a deep hood, a pair of patch pockets, an inner pocket and often an additional pocket on the sleeve that fastens with a hidden zipper.

In many modern versions of winter parkas, a number of parts can be unfastened if desired, this is a hood, fur lining, and sometimes even sleeves. The detachable lining of a winter women's parka-pikhora is made, as a rule, of sheepskin, rabbit or chinchilla. The hood, trimmed with lush natural fur, will come in handy in winter, it not only decorates, but also serves as additional protection from the cold. For a blue winter parka, red fox fur is best suited as a bright accent.

Shades

There are many shades of blue. It can be cold (steel blue, azure, sea water, blue dust, cornflower blue), and it can be warm (heavenly, sapphire, denim, royal blue), it can be pure and rich (cobalt, indigo, ultramarine), or it can be muted and blurred (blue pastel, gray, niagara). The color shade of the parka can be bright and piercing, or it can be light and delicate, almost blue.

In the current season, almost the entire blue color palette is relevant - from calm pastel tones to brutal ink shades.

Blue is a great alternative to the already boring black and brown colors. For winter parks, the darkest shades of blue - blue-black, gray-blue, cobalt, steel blue, night blue and Prussian blue - are the most worthy choices. They slim, stretch a not too tall figure, combine with almost any other colors of women's wardrobe, in general, they are able to decorate a girl and a woman of any age. In addition, the dark blue color is quite practical, it does not need to be washed or dry-cleaned often.

Selection Tips

The parka, like any other piece of outerwear, is designed to emphasize the existing advantages of the female figure and disguise possible silhouette flaws.First of all, you need to decide on the shade of blue, depending on the type of appearance. It has long been known that only a part of the existing shades decorates any appearance, some colors enliven the look and refresh the face, while others, on the contrary, highlight wrinkles and circles under the eyes.

There are four main color types: winter, summer, spring and autumn. A characteristic feature of the winter type of appearance is dark hair. It is better to choose the colors of the parka cold and clean - black and blue, night blue, steel blue, ultramarine and cobalt.

The summer color type, characterized by ash-blond hair and light eyes, looks advantageous in outerwear in muted and warm shades. Cornflower, lavender, gray, indigo or sapphire parka will do just fine.

The spring type is recognized by the straw hair. Muted and “powdered” shades are not recommended here. Warm and clean tones of blue are what will brighten the spring woman. A gray-blue, azure, aqua, denim or sapphire parka is the best choice.

The autumn color type is rare, but it is very easy to identify it by bright brown or red hair and green or light brown eyes. Warm, muted and natural colors - this is the main rule for choosing clothes for "autumn" girls. A sky blue parka or a niagara shade should be recommended here.

What to wear with?

The blue women's parka goes well with almost any casual outfit. In summer, the sleeveless parka is worn over a plain top or plaid shirt. You can safely combine it with your favorite safari-style shorts or short skirts. For feet with a light summer parka, we recommend wearing sneakers, slip-ons or moccasins.

With a blue parka, skinny gray trousers or jeans look great. You can wear a loose-fitting sweater on top. As footwear for autumn and spring, we recommend boots and low shoes without heels, oxfords or brogues made from natural materials. Slip-on turtlenecks and heeled ankle boots look good with glamorous parkas.

In the cold, do not forget about the headdress, the ideal option is a light knitted hat with a pompom. A long knitted scarf or snood tied over a hood will be a good addition to a winter look. In winter, Timberland style boots or flat ankle boots are great with a blue parka. It is better to choose a bag with a voluminous, not flashy neutral shade.

As for color combinations, accessories can be blue, black, beige or gray. But as a bright accent color, you can choose one of the elements of a bright red, yellow or even green hue.

Stylish looks

Stylish demi-season women's parka in a pleasant dark blue shade just above the knee length is insulated with soft plush fur. The laconic cut is diluted with brown leather stripes on the cuffs and at the top of the park, as well as oval plugs on the drawstring.

A gray-blue winter parka, insulated with goose down, is specially designed for extremely low temperatures. The high-tech fabric protects not only from wind and moisture, but also from dirt. Removable coyote fur trims the fleece-insulated hood.
