Funny and colorful kigurumi pajamas came to us from Japan. Translated from the language of this country, its name is translated as "a body in a soft toy." Thanks to the bright colors and cute images of cartoon characters and fairy-tale characters, the costume gave rise to a new page in the history of the development of home clothes.

One of the most popular characters in which kigurumi lovers love to spend time resting and sleeping is a kangaroo. A funny animal with a pocket on the stomach is great for household chores, where you can put small things you need. The hood looks like a cute animal face, which is facilitated by the presence of ears, eyes, nose and smile - mouth. The whole look of such pajamas helps to raise the mood, and bad dreams in such a cozy suit will be bypassed.

Features of the model

Loose fit and fabric pleasant to the body make their wearers not crawl out of the kigurumi all day long. Whole families can dress up in them. Male and female models differ little from each other, except perhaps in the size and location of the buttons. All parts are made identically, there are no differences in hoods, belly pockets and the presence of tails.

Children's kigurumi pajamas are made of exactly the same material in compliance with the basic principles of cutting and sewing the product: loose fit, the presence of a hood, a pocket.

Not surprisingly, there is now a new trend in gift giving - a set of pajamas in the idea of a funny animal for the whole family. Cute, funny and practical.

For the kangaroo model, the clasp is made in the form of buttons. The pocket on the stomach also fastens on them, which is justified by the funny face of a kangaroo peeking out of there. Soft, non-crushing elastic bands are inserted into the stitched cuffs on the arms and legs, which prevent the cold from penetrating inside. The hood is deep enough to keep the neck and ears from freezing.

Material

Pajamas are made from two types of fabrics. Experts say that real kigurumi are made only from fleece. It is a warm, hypoallergenic material pleasant to the body, in which the skin breathes perfectly. Fleece does not stretch and does not form small pellets. The denser the fabric, the higher its quality. Accordingly, the price will be higher.

Another fabric that is often called soft fleece is velsoft. It is often called new generation synthetics. Products made from it are significantly lower in quality than real fleece. In terms of tactile sensations, it is in no way inferior to it, but it does not hold its shape and stretches. In addition, it differs significantly in color. The product looks a little paler than it would be with real fleece. Also, manufacturers working in velsoft do not always respect the design. And your kangaroo pajamas, for example, might not have a tail or pocket. But the price allows you to save your family budget.

Moving away from the kigurumi model, but at the same time remaining in the theme of love for the Australian animal, you can pay attention to the classic pajamas with a print in the form of kangaroo figures. Among children's models, you can find a pajama suit with a large print in the shape of a kangaroo on the sweater. Or on adult pajamas, a patch pocket is often found - a kangaroo, which is more related to an element of decor.

Functionally, a pocket in a home suit is used for some little things that should always be at hand.

How to choose?

  • Kigurumi pajamas are considered wide, so it is best to choose the product for your height. If your height is borderline between two sizes, opt for a large one.
  • These clothes are considered multifunctional, as they are great for home use, for sleeping and for participating in pajama or themed parties. Therefore, you should not chase the low price of pajamas, which can lose color after several washings, and the surface of the product may become bald.
  • Fleece pajamas are best. The material does not require special conditions. It is enough to wash the product in a washing machine at a temperature not exceeding 30 degrees. It is best to use color powder and conditioner to soften the fabric of your pajamas.
  • Take a close look at the seams. They need to be processed. In quality products, the seams are invisible and do not chafe the skin.
