Among the owners of medium and long hair, it has become fashionable to make an ordinary bun. Previously, a careless bun was done only at home, tied high on the crown so that the hair did not interfere with household chores. Now the bun has become a new type of hairstyle, it has gone beyond the house, and it has become popular to walk with it along the streets of the city. The more casual the bun, the more stylish your look will look.

There are many types of beams, each unique in its own way. It will look good in combination with any outfit, be it a dress, shorts with a T-shirt or a business suit. When playing sports, a high bun is very convenient: the hair does not interfere, and it is not so hot with it.

Peculiarities

The bunch itself is a common type of styling, suitable for absolutely every girl and woman. One has only to choose the right type of hairstyle for the type of face and physique. A high bun on the top of the head will suit low young ladies: it will visually make them taller. A voluminous hairstyle is not suitable for tall, thin girls: it will make their image more rude. For broad facial features, a low beam is recommended.

The main feature of this hairstyle is its simplicity in execution. The bunch can be completely different: high, low, sloppy, sophisticated, voluminous.

The hairstyle was created for those who are constantly in a hurry to get somewhere. Each time, everyone improved it and began to use various auxiliary accessories.

Pros and cons of the accessory

One of the easiest accessories to use is regular elastic band. It is used in every hairstyle as a main or fixing element.A wide assortment, affordability will allow you to choose an elastic band for every hairstyle: thin or thick, regular classic or with pebbles, flowers and many others. The disadvantages of cheap rubber bands and often used ones include their stretching, and they also tear quickly.

Then they began to use "bagel" (Some of this type of gum is called "donut"). It is as easy to use as a regular rubber band. It is similar in material to a sponge (just as soft), allows you to evenly distribute curls and creates additional volume. They are produced in various sizes and in different colors, which will allow you to choose the "bagel" you need.

If you have thin hair, then it is very important to choose an accessory to match them: then it will not stand out. Due to frequent use and auxiliary pinning, it can tear very quickly.

There is a modernized "Collapsible bagel". The material is more rigid, in three places it will be tightened with Velcro to hold the hair.

The main disadvantage of this type of elastic bands for the beam is a very weak place for fastening.

They are produced in two sizes (22x4 cm and 17x3 cm) and in three colors: brown, black and light.

If, for some reason, you do not have any of the above accessories, but you want to make a voluminous hairstyle, then a regular knitted sock will help you. This accessory was also used by our grandmothers. Accessibility is considered an advantage, because everyone has an unnecessary sock lying in the closet. One has only to cut off the tip and twist it into the same "donut".

For camouflage, use a cloth that matches your hair color, or wrap your hair in several layers.

Types of bundles with elastic

There are many types of buns with an elastic band - this is the simplest and fastest hairstyle. To do it, on the crown of the head, collect all the hair with an elastic band and twist it into a bun. This hairstyle is more suitable for home or for a walk with friends. It is short-lived and can quickly disintegrate, especially if you have heavy hair.

However, depending on the availability of auxiliary decorative techniques for decorating hair, bundles are divided into several types.

  • Ballet bunch. Judging by the name, all ballerinas do it for themselves, but other representatives of creative professions also resort to it: gymnasts, populists and even Hollywood stars. Belong to the classic bundle. Tie the tail with an elastic band (choose the one that you like: high or low), twist the hair tight and twist, securing with hairpins, around the base. At the end, you can put a mesh or a nice elastic band on top, or you can leave it that way.
  • Malvinka. Comb all of your hair back and use your hands to separate a section from one ear to the other. Tie the ponytail and twist it into a messy bun. There is another, more original option: take small strands near the ears and tie them in a loop at the back, but do not pull the strands out to the end, thus dividing the tail into two parts (the upper is the loop, and the lower is the tail). Divide the upper part in half and wrap the lower part of the tail between the two loops, securing it with invisible ones. This will create a bow-shaped bun.
  • Harness. Tie a high tail, securing it with an elastic band, twist the entire strand into a bundle and pull out individual strands with your fingers a little, twist a slightly disheveled bundle into a bun and secure with invisible ones. This will give you more volume and a messy bun that only adds zest to your hairstyle.
  • Loop. Tie one or two high ponytails in a loop, that is, do not fully pull your hair through the elastic bands. Fluff up the loop a little, and then wrap the remaining tail around it, securing it with invisibility.
  • Bow. Gather all the hair in a high ponytail so that a loop forms on top, and the end of the tail is in front, falling onto the forehead. Divide the loop into two equal parts, passing the end of the tail between them.Fasten on the back so that the ends are hidden under the bun. Fix the bow with varnish.
  • Wicker. Tie a high ponytail, then divide into two or more strands and braid. Stretch them and twist each separately, securing with pins.
  • Inverted. Suitable for long to medium hair. Comb the entire hair back and tie an elastic band at the bottom of the tail. Divide your hair in half, make a hole between the head and the tied elastic band and twist the entire tail inside it. Then curl the ponytail a little from the bottom to half and place all the hair in the hole again. Secure with hairpins and then decorate with a comb or other accessory.

All of these bundles can be done on either a high or a low tail (or even one side). Recently, among schoolgirls and not only it has become popular to make two symmetrical beams. To do this, you just need to make an even parting and use two elastic bands and a little more hairpins.

How to do it yourself?

You can create bundles with different types of weaves. So the hairstyle will certainly look more festive and original. Moreover, you can start weaving both from the frontal part and from the back of the head.

If you have chosen the frontal braiding option, then to do this, separate the hair from ear to ear and briefly tie it with an elastic band or secure with a crab. Tie the remaining hair into a ponytail (you can either at the bottom or at the top), and then use any of the suggested methods:

  • twist a regular tourniquet and twist it into a bun, securing it with hairpins;
  • weave several braids or spikelets and fasten each separately;
  • use a "donut", twister-barrette or whatever will be at hand, making a volumetric smooth bun.
  • after forming a bun, proceed to braiding the separated hair. Take a small strand at the ear in your hand and divide it into three equal parts, then weave them like a regular braid, remembering to add additional strands only on one side (at the forehead).
  • when all the hair is braided, complete a regular braid and secure it with a silicone rubber band. Wrap the finished bundle with a braided braid around and hide the tail in it, securing it with invisible ones.

A bun with a scythe on the back of the head is a little more difficult, since you have to weave, starting from the back of the head and going up. In this case, it is more convenient to lower your head.

To do this, separate the strand at the back of the head and divide it into three, braid like a regular braid, adding hair on both sides. When you reach the top, collect all your hair and tie it with a thick elastic band, twist it into a regular bun or use a "donut".

There is another interesting variety - a bundle with a "donut" and weaving. To do this, you will need two rubber bands of the usual type and one "donut", and of course, fixing agents: varnish, mousse or foam. If you use foam or mousse, then you need to smear them on your hair before starting work. After that, comb and tie the hair at the crown of the head with a tight elastic band, pass the "donut" and distribute the hair evenly over it, then put the elastic on top of the hair color. Collect the remaining hair on two sides and:

  • twist into a tourniquet;
  • braid the braids or a spikelet.

Then wrap two braided or twisted strands around the "donut" with hair.

At home, you can also "create" a bundle using the twisting method. In this case, a “donut” (regular or collapsible), a twister-barrette or even a sock can be used. The twisting principle will be similar.

You can also use only an elastic band and invisibility.

  • Comb your hair well. Bring them up and tie them back.
  • Beam twisting process:
    1. Place the "donut" or sock on the tip of the tail and, holding the latter vertically, twist from top to bottom, while making sure that the hair is evenly distributed;
    2. take a collapsible "donut" or twister-hairpin, place half of the ponytail and start twisting the hair up, twist the ends to each other and fasten them;
    3. take a lock of hair from the tail, smear it with foam and start twisting from the bottom to the very top, securing it at the roots of the head with invisible ones;
    4. do the same for the rest of your hair, securing the curled strands in a circle to create an unusual bun.
  • For security, secure your hair with hairpins or bobby pins, and then sprinkle it with hairspray.

You can easily perform a bun with two braids. As a rule, this hairstyle is performed on long hair. To do this, you need to divide the hair at the back into two parts and tie two tails at a not too great distance from each other. Weave braids from these tails or twist into bundles, stretching the strands a little, tie the ends with rubber bands to match the hair. Take one of the braids and start twisting it around the base of the other braid, securing it with hairpins and hiding the end of the tail. Repeat the same procedure with the other braid, only so that bald patches and elastic bands are not visible.

Each of these hairstyles can be created not only for everyday wear, but also for parties, weddings and proms.

Before creating, many hairdressers additionally wind curls or corrugate the hair, and then fix it in a careless and very voluminous bun.

As mentioned above, this hairstyle can be easily done at home. The first time, of course, it may not work out, but there is no need to worry - you just have to practice a little. And then you will have a perfect, sophisticated or even sophisticated romantic hairstyle.

How to decorate?

You can decorate this hairstyle with various accessories:

  • hairpins or hairpins with stones, flowers;
  • ribbons and even scarves;
  • kanzashi: headbands, bows, bows, flowers (using ribbons, stones, buttons and other elements);
  • decorated flowers;
  • tiaras, hair brooches.

The main task when using accessories is not to overdo it.

The hairstyle will look more aesthetically pleasing without their use. If you decide to decorate with any of the above attributes, for example, metal clips, use only one, securing it to the side.

By using your imagination, you can also decorate with various decorations: pendants or even necklaces. So you can feel like an Egyptian queen or a Turkish sultana.

Bows made from ribbons and headscarves will create a new look. They emphasize innocence, timidity and bring tenderness into the image of young girls.

Recently, you can often see jewelry in the form of kanzashi on little girls. These products can be purchased at stores with various hairpins, online stores, or you can make your own. The basis is the ability to handle ribbons, folding them into petals and flowers of different sizes, which are then attached to an elastic band, clip or comb using a glue gun, depending on the obtained and desired composition. It can also be tiaras, headbands decorated with flowers and stones.

In the video below, you can see three ways to create a volumetric beam using an elastic band and a donut.
