Features of the customs officer's uniform

All customs officers on duty are required to wear overalls. The customs form is issued to officials along with all the necessary insignia free of charge and, if necessary, is replaced with a new one.

The first customs uniforms appeared on the territory of Russia back in 1827. Until 1917, the shape remained practically unchanged. After the arrival of the Soviet authorities, the uniform underwent minor changes. For several decades, the number of items that come with a uniform has been constantly changing. In the days of tsarist Russia, the color of the uniforms of customs officers depended on which province he was in. Now the whole country uses a single color scheme. Clothes are sewn in blue or dark green.

Modern clothing for customs officers is different:

• identification symbols of the Russian Federation.

The set of clothes for men working at customs includes trousers, a tunic and a jacket. The outerwear is complemented by four convenient pockets. Two of them are fastened with buttons for reliability. For fastening shoulder straps on the shoulders, there are so-called belt loops. The jacket is fastened with a regular zipper. Therefore, it is very easy to take it off and put it back on. On holidays, a basic set of clothes is complemented by a tie.

The main difference between the female form is that a skirt is included in the package instead of trousers. Comfortable fit and correct length make it comfortable for everyday wear. The women's jacket is also slightly different. It has a semi-fitted silhouette, so it looks great on any figure.

Both women and men are prohibited by the rules to mix items of uniform and civilian. In addition, the clothing must not be decorated or altered in any way.

The uniform of customs officers in different countries does not differ much. In addition to colors, details such as:

• cockade decorating a headdress;

The new form is distinguished by black stripes with inscriptions in the Latin alphabet. In addition, a different cockade is used. The tin badge on the headwear is made of a gold-colored metal alloy and has a logo in the center.
