  • trains employees, if necessary, supervises their work;
  • monitors compliance with the rules and regulations of labor protection, sanitary and fire safety.

Of course, in addition to responsibilities, the technologist also has rights:

  • obtaining the necessary information about the product before starting its processing, for example, where the milk came from and whether there are documents for it;
  • conduct the necessary research to help ensure the quality of the product;
  • introduce new methods and ways of processing dairy products, modernize equipment.

Qualification

Considering the level of responsibility inherent in the profession of a dairy technologist, it becomes clear how high the requirements for an employee should be. He must:

  • to have an education in this industry - to graduate from a specialized college or the corresponding faculty of the institute, to be well versed in the properties and technical parameters of milk;
  • know everything about the norms, rules and calculations, have information about the methods of product control and be able to do it yourself;
  • correctly determine the level of product quality;
  • be able to work with scientific and technical documentation;
  • know about personal responsibility for mistakes and violations in the production of dairy products.

Undoubtedly, ordinary human qualities are also very important: responsibility, accuracy, scrupulousness, decision-making ability. Of course, each enterprise has its own specific requirements for the qualifications of a technologist. But anyway you need to improve your professional level, take refresher courses, if needed - extra education.
