Brand history

Dolce & Gabbana Italian fashion house was founded in 1982 two young designers - Domenico Dolce and Steffano Gabbana... Three years later, the designers made themselves known to the whole world for the first time, presenting at the Milano Collezioni show a collection of clothes for strong and self-confident women of non-model appearance. Dresses and light sundresses became its main adornment.

Models from the collections

Annually Dolce & gabbana produce about thirty collections, each of which invariably contains sundresses.

One of the first sundresses created by the brand was the black bustier model, and the designers themselves call this product “the quintessence of style Dolce & Gabbana. Later, the fashion house released a dress-sundress with a leopard print and this model is still the uniform of relaxed and self-confident ladies.

Another iconic model for Dolce & Gabbana is sundress-caftan straight cut, sleeveless or 3/4 sleeves. This time, the product was also made in black, which, in principle, is the brand's trademark, but recently this model has been seen on the catwalk in various bright and variegated colors.

Both designers admit that they admire each female figure, and an easy way to highlight her is put on a sundress... Under this slogan, sundress models were released with the aesthetics of the 50s. These are elegant, feminine pieces in retro and classic styles. In another collection, designers glorified sexuality and femininity, releasing a whole batch of "bustier" sundresses with a pencil skirt.

Another amazing model of a sundress from Dolce & Gabbana - option with a maxi skirt... Long models are filled with bright prints by designers from collection to collection. These sundresses breathe the Sicilian style, in them a woman immediately acquires vacation relaxation and charm, even if she walks through the streets of a busy metropolis.

A number of models of Dolce & Gabbana sundresses, which once again won the hearts of many young ladies, are distinguished by a special fabric. Designers have released several options at once, sewn from lace, mesh or translucent chiffon. The philosophy of the fashion house is as follows: "The female body is beautiful in nature and does not need to be hidden."

Decor

The favorite feature of the designers of this fashion house is decorate your products with anything, if only it had to do with Italy. All kinds of embroideries, drawings, appliques celebrating the homeland of Dolce & Gabbana adorn dresses and sundresses from the very beginning of the brand's founding to this day.

The designers even created a separate collection called “Italy is love”. Without exception, all sundresses and dresses presented in it are decorated in the Italian theme. At the show of this collection, models showed dresses decorated with prints depicting all the provinces of the country, with their features and attractions.

Color and print

The most common color in Dolce & Gabbana collections is black... There are also monochrome options that amaze the imagination, but most often designers dilute the gloom of black, combining it with yellow, red, pink shades, create graphic black and white sundresses, decorate multi-colored models with black lace.

In the new season, prints on Dolce & Gabbana dresses and sundresses look like a woman is wearing not clothes, but a picture. Patterns depicting fruit trees, landscapes and antique architecture, even the face of the Madonna are found almost everywhere in the new collection of summer sundresses.

Another favorite theme for prints by designers is flowers... Fashionistas are invited to proudly carry whole bouquets on their sundresses. At the same time, both decorative and wild flowers can be skillfully mixed in one product: poppies coexist with roses, chamomiles with camellias, and together this combination gives a dizzying effect.

Sundress accessories

The Dolce & Gabbana fashion house itself is happy to provide girls with excellent accessories for any dress or sundress. Silk scarves, sunglasses and bijouterie are produced under the brand's trademark. Dolce & Gabbana also sews breathtaking bags - this season they are bright, have rich decor and a lot of jewelry.
