Not only the comfort of its use, but also the very possibility of preparing certain dishes often depends on the quality and characteristics of the selected frying pan. Therefore, when choosing dishes, it is worth familiarizing yourself with an overview of the popular VITESSE frying pans models.

    Brand info

    The rights to the VITESSE trademark belong to the French company VITESSE FRANCE S. A. R. L., which was founded in the early 2000s and was initially engaged exclusively in the production of stainless steel cookware and other kitchen utensils. In 2007, the company's product range expanded with household appliances and tableware made of other materials, in particular, aluminum, ceramics and cast iron.

      Currently, the company's catalog contains about 1000 different names of dishes and other kitchen equipment. There are black pages in the history of the company. For example, the court lost in 2009 against the Antimonopoly Service of the Russian Federation, when the company had to pay a fine and admit that all of its production facilities are located in China and not in France.

      Peculiarities

      All VITESSE cookware models are equipped with a thermal storage base that stores heat from the cooking zones. Its presence allows food to reach in the pan when the burner is off, thereby saving electricity or gas. This configuration of the bottom allows cooking with a minimum amount of oil or water, which favorably affects the taste and nutritional value of the resulting dishes.

      All products of the company have passed Rospotrebnadzor certification and do not contain any harmful or hazardous materials and impurities.

      Varieties

      The material from which it is made has the greatest influence on the properties of the frying pan. The French brand offers its customers tableware made of different materials.

      • Steel... The products are distinguished by their beautiful appearance, relatively low weight, average heating rate and resistance to rust.
      • Cast iron. The heaviest and most fragile material used for the manufacture of kitchen utensils, moreover, its appearance is unpresentable, and the surface is very difficult to clean. But cast-iron cookware does not rust, heats up for a long time and cools very slowly, which makes it possible to provide an ideal temperature regime for many dishes from different cuisines.
      • Aluminum... The utensils are distinguished by their minimum weight, affordable price and long service life. However, in terms of resistance to mechanical damage, aluminum is inferior to steel, products from it quickly heat up, which is not very well suited for cooking gourmet cuisine. In addition, damage to the non-stick coating in such a pan will lead to burning of the food, which is not typical for products made of other materials.

      The second most important indicator is the coating that is applied to the working part of the product. The frying pans offered by the company have the following coating:

      • granite - it is distinguished by its elegant appearance, environmental friendliness, ease of maintenance and high price;
      • ceramic - reliably protects against sticking, but is sensitive to mechanical damage;
      • combined granite-titanium - cheaper than granite and excludes burning;
      • from colored enamel - used exclusively for cast iron models to give them an aesthetic look.

      Vitesse pans designs:

      • universalthat can be used for frying and stewing any food;
      • pancakes with low sides for convenient frying of pancakes;
      • grill pans with grooved bottom, due to which the products do not burn, are not completely in oil and are not only fried, but also partially steamed;
      • wok - traditional Chinese deep frying pans with two handles for frying with constant stirring, well suited for cooking pilaf and other oriental dishes;
      • braziers, which can be used as a frying pan or used for baking in the oven;
      • saucepan - a hybrid of a frying pan and a saucepan, which is used for stewing vegetables, mushrooms and meat.

      Models are distinguished by size:

      • small, with a diameter ranging from 18 to 22 cm;
      • large, with a diameter ranging from 24 to 30 cm.

      In addition to the frying pan itself, the delivery set may include:

      • heat-resistant glass cover;
      • removable handles;
      • removable dividers for separate preparation of several small portions;
      • grates on which ready-to-use portions can be laid out in order to heat them.
