Every year famous fashion houses present new trends in clothing, make-up, figure and lifestyle. Something goes away over time, and some trends are firmly entrenched in the life of women of fashion. So, having appeared at the end of the 19th century, the bohemian style became an expression of freedom, creativity and art. And only the brightest and most distinctive personalities dared to wear it. Over time, this direction acquired new features, but the spirit of freedom has not died out in it to this day.

Peculiarities

The bohemian style originated outside of fashion. Rather, it was associated with a lifestyle. Initially, bohemiens in France were called gypsies, that is, the inhabitants of Bohemia (Czech Republic). Therefore, the free life of artists and artists was compared with them. So, over time, the bohemian was dubbed a stratum of society, which included artistic and theatrical figures leading an extravagant lifestyle.

Initially, it was not considered something positive and was accompanied by poverty. But the world is changing, and bohemia is increasingly becoming associated with something sublime and attractive. With the beginning of the 20th century, the bohemian style turns into a phenomenon of world culture. The bohemian style always stands out from the crowd. They have something to tell about and how to surprise others. A rich inner world, a craving for art, a small concern for material wealth often attract artists, painters, musicians, and poets to a bohemian society.

By the end of the 20th century, changes are taking place in the concept of "bohemia". The world started talking about the emergence of "bobo" - a combination of bohemians and bourgeois. It is in this form that the bohemian style exists today. He can be seen among Hollywood stars, millionaires, famous figures of science and art.

The founder of the bohemian style in clothing can be safely considered the model Jane Morris, who at the end of the 19th century refused to wear corsets and put on long loose dresses, which became a turning point in the history of women's fashion. Such a fresh decision was immediately taken up by European couturiers, who immediately began to develop and transform it.

Over time, the bohemian style became a symbol of protest. Strict elements of men's suits appeared in women's outfits. The style was supported by famous personalities: Marlene Dietrich, Frida Kahlo. And later, the free hippie style became almost the main thing in the outfits of this direction: knitted tops, layered skirts, huge glasses, headbands, baubles. All this is still used today.

Today, bohemian style means a combination of streetwear and luxury items. By combining a variety of elements, the boho fashionista expresses his attitude to the world, in return revealing all the diversity of his soul. Various shapes and textures are used, hand-made things from well-known and "untwisted" designers, eco-friendly materials.

Such a variety in the combination of clothes makes it possible to fantasize, which means that this style will be appropriate in any situation: on vacation and when going out, but with the right combination. From unkempt hippie clothing, it has evolved into a luxurious and sophisticated style.

Clothing items

Representatives of this style are always in search of a new one, they often change places, spending time traveling. At the same time, boho personalities do not waste time: they play music, paint, comprehend the art of dancing. That's why clothing should be comfortable, loose and include items that are easy to wash and not easy to ruin. To do this, choose bright, multi-colored clothes.

This is where you can really roam! The range of colors in the boho style is huge: floral prints, psychedelics, ethnic motives, checks, patterns. Decorations made of wood, feathers, bones, laces on the neck will look spectacular.

Hats make up a separate layer for imagination: fedora hats, with wide brim, straw, with ribbons, flowers. And don't forget about scarves.Bags also form an important part of the boho wardrobe. Usually these are bags-bags with bright ornaments made of natural fabrics, knitted and woven bags, models using the patchwork technique, leather knapsacks with a fringe over the shoulder, small bags with a long drawstring.

From footwear - comfortable natural sandals, cowboy boots, ballet flats. Brown is preferred.

Men also have a huge choice: neckerchiefs, hats, caps, bandanas, suspenders, rough leather bracelets, baubles, butterflies on the neck, woven belts, amulets, forehead bands, voluminous scarves, all kinds of patches, patches, unusual accessories (buttons and buttons ).
