For every girl, the wedding day is one of the most significant events in her life. Therefore, many of them begin to prepare for this day in a few months. And the girls assign a special role in all preparations to the choice of a wedding dress.

To help the bride look graceful, feminine and sophisticated on her wedding day, dress designers offer a modern and comfortable option - a wedding dress with a corset.

The corset of a wedding dress will help to tighten the stomach and sides, lift the chest, giving harmony and grace to any figure. In addition, it helps to maintain posture and look graceful on this solemn day.

For girls who need to correct their figure, it is necessary to select a special tightening corset several sizes smaller, which will help to make the silhouette slimmer. For those who already do not have significant problems with their figure, the corset will perform only a decorative function.

Some girls refuse the offered corset dress options because of the inconvenience. After all, you will need to spend the whole day in a wedding dress, and not everyone is ready to be in such a cramped position for a long time.

Others find this style of dress overly open, making them feel uncomfortable, which is absolutely unacceptable on their wedding day. Therefore, before buying a dress with a corset, you need to try it on and check your feelings in such an outfit.

Models

The most popular and favorite option for a wedding dress with a tight top is fluffy dresses. Indeed, for girls, the wedding day seems somehow magical, and therefore they themselves want to look like a princess from a fairy tale.

Fluffy dresses come in two varieties:

  • sewn like ball gowns;
  • expanding downward, the so-called A-shaped. This style of a wedding dress is not suitable for girls of short stature and with large volumes.

Another attractive model of a corset wedding dress is the mermaid dress. This style of dress is characterized by a tight-fitting silhouette and the presence of a fluffy skirt from the knee line. Such a dress is suitable for girls only with a slender figure, otherwise the wedding dress will look extremely sloppy on the bride.

Wedding dresses differ not only in the style and splendor of the skirt. The corset of the dress can also be made in several versions.

When choosing a wedding dress with a transparent corset, which is most often made of lace or embroidered mesh fabric, you need to pay attention to the fact that such an outfit does not look too revealing or does not give out flaws in the figure.

Pre-fitting will help you choose the right pattern on a transparent corset, which will advantageously emphasize the girl's figure. Such a corset, embroidered with rhinestones, pearls and stones, will make the bride's image dazzling in the literal and figurative sense. Delicate lace, in turn, will add femininity and romance to a wedding dress.

Choosing an elongated corset in a wedding dress will allow you to more or less tighten the figure in certain places, while creating the perfect silhouette.

The chest in such a corset is visually enlarged, and the hips and waist are well tied. Such models of a wedding dress with a thigh-length corset will add grace and sophistication to the bride's image. A wide belt can be used to emphasize the waistline in a dress with an elongated corset. This corset looks great both in lush wedding dresses and in more form-fitting mermaid models.

Models of wedding dresses, consisting separately of a corset and a skirt, have become an excellent design invention. On the bride, such a set looks like a full dress. In such a wedding dress, the girl will feel much more comfortable during the celebration, since the voluminous skirt will not weigh down the upper part and pull the yoke down.

Color solutions

Today you can find a wedding dress for every taste and color. The variety of color solutions for a wedding dress is simply amazing. However, the vast majority of girls, when choosing a wedding dress, pay tribute to tradition and buy a classic white outfit.

The history of a snow-white wedding dress lies somewhere in the distant past, and no one can answer with certainty what caused the choice of this particular color. In the modern world, a white wedding dress is associated with innocence, perfection of the bride, purity and finality of her intentions in choosing a life partner.

The optimal solution for those who opted for a traditional wedding dress, but want to add originality to it, can be decorative elements of a different color. This can be a tied belt, trim on the bottom of a dress, or colored elements on a corset. But in this case, the color scheme should be matched to the groom's suit and the overall decoration of the wedding celebration.

How to lace up correctly

Many brides, choosing dresses for a celebration with a corset, are faced with the fact that they do not know how to lace it up correctly.

First you need to choose the most convenient lacing option for yourself:

  • on hinges;
  • on the slots;
  • on hooks.

Satin ribbons, silk braid or a special cotton lace are usually used to tie a wedding dress.

A lot depends on how correctly the corset will fit. If you tighten it strongly, then the bride will experience discomfort throughout the entire celebration and will be constantly distracted. An overly relaxed corset can subside and, again, will bring a lot of inconvenience to the main hero of the occasion.

You need to lace up the corset when the girl has already put on the dress. That is why it is not possible to lace up the corset on your own without assistance. During the lacing of the corset, the bride needs to hold her breasts with both hands so that during the tying process it is not flattened.

The lacing of the corset starts at the top, the tape is inserted into the loops from top to bottom and crisscrossed before the next loops. Care must be taken not to twist the tape, otherwise the lacing will look messy. In order to secure your chest, you need to tighten the knot at this level of lacing. Then you can move on to the lacing in the waist area, which is usually pulled down the most carefully.

After the tape has passed through the last tabs, the degree of tightening can be adjusted. To do this, you need to take both ends of the tape in one hand, and gently tighten the tape at the intersection with the other. If necessary, the procedure can be repeated several times.

In addition to the usual lacing, there are also more modern models of dresses with a zipper. A corset with a zipper can only be of a decorative nature, since it does not tighten and, therefore, does not shape the figure.
