  5. Sugar (effective if there is no heavy contamination on the product). Dissolve 1 teaspoon of sugar in 300 ml of chilled water. Dip gold in the solution. Leave on for at least 60 minutes.
  6. Dish gel. Dissolve 1 tablespoon in half a liter of water, heat for 20 minutes. Submerge the decoration. Rinse with cool water and dry on a napkin.
  7. Salt. Dissolve 1 heaped tablespoon in half a glass of water. Put the decoration in the solution, leave it overnight. In the morning, rinse with running water and leave on a napkin until dry. You can use a hairdryer. Then the jewelry will dry in just a few seconds. There will be no negative consequences for metal and cameos.
  8. Soap solution. Dissolve a small bar of soap in water. Dip the jewelry in there and rub it lightly with a soft sponge.
  9. Cola Cola. Immerse the jewelry in a drink for half an hour. Phosphoric acid will help to quickly dissolve and remove all contaminants. Rinse the product with running water and wipe with a soft cloth.
  10. Mix in a container a glass of cool water, 20 g of peroxide, 1 teaspoon of liquid soap, 1 teaspoon of ammonia. Place the jewelry in the resulting solution for half an hour. Rinse the jewelry under cold running water.

If none of the described methods have restored the proper shine to white gold, you can purchase a specialized paste for cleaning jewelry (at a jewelry salon, online store).
