The Polish brand Cersanit is widely known for the production of high-quality sanitary ware. Baths of this brand are presented in the widest range: sizes vary from 120 to 200 cm. Products are in demand not only in Poland, but also in many other European countries.

About company

Today Cersanit is the only brand in Poland that specializes in the production of a complete range of products for bathroom furnishings. The brand operates under the slogan “Great ideas for your bathroom”. This brand produces tiles, sanitary ware, cabins, shower furniture, and acrylic bathtubs.

Cersanit is a recognized leader in the sanitary ware market. The wide assortment line is recognized far beyond the borders of Poland, the products are in demand in many European countries and on the territory of the former CIS.

In 2010, the manufacturing enterprise acquired a ceramic factory in Syzran, and after another 4 years the brand became one of the best-selling in our country.

Peculiarities

Cersanit is a well-known Polish manufacturer of quality acrylic bathtubs. All products of this brand are made of cast acrylic sheet. Products are equipped with a wide variety of legs, thanks to the variety of their models, the equipment can be installed not only near the wall, but also in any other place. Most of the offered baths involve an antibacterial coating with silver ions - this composition creates an effective protection against 90% of pathogenic microorganisms, maintaining its antimicrobial and antifungal properties for a long time.

Cersanit sanitary ware has received a recommendation from the Polish Society of Allergists and a hygienic certificate. All equipment comes with a 7-year warranty.

Advantages and disadvantages

Cersanit acrylic bathtubs have an optimal price-quality ratio, but the list of product advantages does not end there. The pluses of the Polish brand plumbing include:

  • increased resistance to mechanical stress;
  • the ability to keep warm for a long time, which makes taking water procedures more comfortable;
  • ease of cleaning and maintenance - you can use any cleaning agent except abrasive to wash the surface;
  • reinforced bottom makes the bowl more stable;
  • the presence of additional devices - a headrest, armrests, as well as shelves for placing shampoo, gel and other detergents;
  • low weight - the lightweight design does not give large loads on the supports, so it is quite possible to install it yourself;
  • the possibility of restoration of the coating - if cracks or chips appear on the surface of the bath, you can return the original gloss to the product with the help of liquid acrylic;
  • wide assortment - in the model range you can find both budget products and luxury options.

However, acrylic bathtubs are not without some disadvantages.

For the production of bathtubs Cersanit is used acrylic sheet no more than 4 mm thick, which makes it impossible to install an additional hydromassage system. However, this applies exclusively to models with an antibacterial coating; for all others, denser sheets are used.

The material has the property of absorbing coloring pigments - if iodine, brilliant green, fucorcin, hair dye or other colored liquids accidentally get into the bath, it will be almost impossible to get rid of the stain.

Shapes and sizes

The Cersanit range offers bowls in a wide variety of shapes and sizes.

Rectangular - these are the most popular models, they can have clear or rounded lines. In this case, the bottom is performed in an arcuate or anatomical version.

Asymmetrical - the best option for small rooms with walls of different lengths. Such products can significantly save space in the bathroom, while the bowl remains quite roomy and comfortable for bathing.

As for the sizes, in the model range of Cersanit bathtubs there are products with dimensions of 180x80 cm and a depth of 45 cm or 170x70 cm with a depth of 42-44 cm.For owners of small bathrooms, the manufacturer offers models with dimensions of 150x70 cm, 140x90 cm and even 120x70 cm.

Each of the presented models has won consumers in different countries. At the same time, user reviews are the most positive. Speaking of Cersanit products, they note the high quality, durability and originality of design, thanks to which any interior design option can be realized in the bathroom.

In addition, the products are characterized by strength, they do not peel off moisture and do not darken over time, and in addition, they allow you to take hygienic procedures with great comfort.

How to choose?

Keep in mind that popular companies often face the problem of counterfeits, so you only need to buy a bath from reliable, trusted retail outlets.

Do not forget to ask the seller for a hygiene certificate and a certificate of conformity, as well as conduct an organoleptic audit of the proposed product.

First of all, pay attention to the fact that good baths do not allow light to pass through. If this happens - in front of you is a fake, the bowls of such a product are short-lived.

    Do a little check - tap the sides of the bowl. If the bath is manufactured in compliance with all technological requirements, you will hear a dull sound.

    No harsh chemical "odors" should emanate from the bath.

    The surfaces of the bowls, both internal and external, must be monolithic. The presence of cracks, chips, dents and bubbles is not allowed, the only exceptions are massage bulges provided by the manufacturer.

    The uneven color of the acrylic bathtub also indicates poor quality of the product, it is unlikely that such a model will serve you for a long time.
