In the bathroom, as in any room of the apartment, proper organization of space is necessary. Otherwise, even the most sophisticated repairs will look sloppy and cheap due to the deposits of various items.

Optimal solutions

Bathroom storage should be organized in such a way that everything you need is at hand, but not striking. Since the things stored in this space cannot be called too attractive, it is better to put them away in various cabinets, containers and organizers. In addition, the more free space remains, the better the order in the room is manifested. A large number of small objects creates the effect of crowding and congestion, which negatively affects the perception when using a small area.

For towels

In addition to traditional hooks, you can place towels elsewhere in the bathroom. For example, neat piles or baskets with twisted rags are ideal will be placed in a niche, filled with shelves. It will also be convenient to put either decorative items or some large bottles and boxes here. The only thing is that you still have to plan for this niche even at the stage of repair work. A similar smaller niche, mounted next to a bathtub or shower stall, is a great storage solution for shower gels or shampoos.

A bar or towel hooks can be conveniently attached to a wall shelf, the number of which is unlimited in the bathroom... A little trivial, but the current technique is to fasten the rods and hooks directly to the front door.An ordinary ladder, painted and additionally treated with moisture-repellent agents, becomes an original hanger. Skillful craftsmen construct towel storage systems from decorated cans.

Those who do not like to strain too much, simply lay out the rolled towels on the stand for wine bottles. Inverted wall hangers also solve the problem.

For household chemicals

Washing powder and detergents, that is, those bulky items that are used regularly, but not every day, conveniently and even beautifully placed on a turntable mounted in a base cabinet. Such an organization makes it easier to access the necessary funds, and also creates a tidy effect. In addition, household chemicals can be placed on top-mounted shelves. So they will not occupy a more important place at the bottom, but at the same time they will be in rather quick access.

For convenience, they can be mounted upside-down so that the side brackets provide better stability for the stored items.

Hanging shelves should also be fixed above the toilet - this area is usually always free, or above the front door. If space permits, then the cabinet under the sink can be equipped with a pair of drawers. Convenient baskets can also be placed there. It is better to select containers not only of the same size, but also of a similar style and color scheme. The same container can hold stocks of sponges, toilet paper, paper towels, and other similar items.

It makes sense to equip the space under the bathroom with folding panel doors, on which all the required bottles and boxes will be fixed.

For cosmetics

Cosmetics, shampoos, creams and other skin care products should be removed in a flat cabinet, which will simultaneously act as a mirror. It can be placed either traditionally above the sink, or, by ordering a full-length model, it can be placed against any free wall. A special organizer for the shower is also suitable, which can be purchased in several copies, after which some of the care products should be removed directly to the area for hygiene procedures, and the other hidden under the sink.

In a small bathroom, it makes sense to place corner shelves, which significantly save space.

For children's toys

It is convenient to place children's toys in a polyethylene organizer with pockets of the required size, which is fixed directly in the bathing area. You can also take ordinary plastic baskets, in which you can store dried toys after use and put everything under the bath or in the cabinet under the sink.

For other things

Small items such as a hair dryer, tongs, curling iron and combs can be conveniently placed on the inside of the door of a floor or hanging cabinet. For metal objects, you can prepare a magnetic board, and for the rest, mount convenient mounts or small containers. Washcloths, shower accessories and toothbrushes are conveniently stored on the screw-on rails. This system makes it possible to use not only conventional S-shaped hooks, but also to hang a soap dish for solid soap or a metal net for tubes and bottles on the bar.

Of course, this is a significant saving of space, as well as the implementation of a neat organization of space. If there is enough free space in the bathroom, then it is better to hide such unattractive items as basins, rags, buckets and mops. into a well-organized roll-out storage system... It does not "callou" the eyes, does not take up space, but at the same time it allows you to save everything you need.

Unusual and interesting ways

Very unusual ideas allow you to organize the space of even the smallest bathroom. For example, a wooden pallet covered with a water-repellent agent is placed on a free wall next to the sink.Further, special round-shaped fasteners are fixed on the surface, into which cans of different sizes are already inserted.

It is convenient to store cotton swabs, cosmetics, creams, shaving razors and other items necessary for hygiene procedures in transparent containers. It turns out not only a convenient, but also a very nice system.

Some life hacks related to the kitchen space can be adapted for the bathroom as well. Alternatively, metal magnetic panels for attaching knives are also suitable for fixing nail scissors, hairpins, invisibles, files and other "owners" of the required material. It is most convenient to fix the fasteners on the back wall of the cabinets.

Another kitchen "guest" in the bathroom can be the spice shelves, which are ideal for storing any little things. A supply for umbrellas can "run across" from the corridor to the bathroom, which will be extremely comfortable for storing toilet paper.

By the way, a fragment of a pipe left after repair, covered with bright paint, can be an excellent device for storing a hair dryer and curling iron. Any dishware becomes a stylish container for storing small items. These can be clear glasses, deep bowls, flat plates, wide cups, or small trays. As a locker for all these unexpected items, you should use a retro suitcase, fixed in an upright state.

Common mistakes

There are a number of mistakes that are common in organizing storage not only in the bathroom, but throughout the apartment. First of all, we are talking about an insufficient number of storage spaces. This moment should be thought out even at the stage of renovation, planning niches, ordering shelves in free zones and giving preference to multifunctional furniture. You can try to determine the number of storage spaces by assessing the amount of available belongings and adding about 30% for the future.... Further, quite often there is an incorrect distribution of things among the existing systems.

It is important that items for every day can be easily and quickly not only taken out, but also put back, so as not to create a mess after each use. The less often an item is used, the more difficult to access it can be.

Another common violation is the lack of strictly designated areas for all items. Having taken a comb or cream from one place, it is necessary to return them there, and the supply of toilet paper should always fall into the basket intended for it. The lack of zoning also creates a clear inconvenience in the operation of the bathroom.

Makeup should be stored next to a mirror, stocks of powder should be stored next to the washing machine, and children's toys should be stored near the bathtub. Finally, it is also wrong to ignore containers, buckets, dividers, and other storage systems.
