The arrangement of a country house most often involves the use of gas fuel. But for all its practical appeal, boilers can look really bad. It is important to know how to correctly solve this problem so that the interior looks organic.

Peculiarities

"Blue fuel" is very economical. But it is very difficult to choose a design for a kitchen with a heating boiler. Disguising or playing around with a heavy, bulky object can be a problem. There are many ways and techniques to do this. However, the first place will invariably be security considerations.

Along with stylistic nuances, they pay attention to:

  • free ventilation of the device;
  • convenient approach to the boiler;
  • minimization of the risk of ignition of surrounding objects.

Solution

In the presence of individual gas heating, the most difficult thing is to beat the old equipment models. The designs released 15 and more years ago do little to meet modern design standards. Replacing the heaters with new ones would be the best way. But such a procedure is very expensive, and professionals will have to work on it. Therefore, one of the best options is camouflage of gas equipment.

In the case of a wall-mounted device, it is either hidden by the front of the cabinet, or made an important interior detail. Since you can't hide a device, you can bring it into your surroundings. The camouflage is bad because it is impossible to provide a free flow of fresh air to the device behind the facades. In the version with floor-standing boilers, pencil cases or boxes made of gypsum plasterboard are sometimes used.The design of these elements is determined exclusively by the stylistic direction of the kitchen.

In older rooms, boilers are usually rigidly tied to some corner. And any attempt to transfer them turns into serious problems. Government agencies require a lot of paperwork to regulate such a procedure. And the work itself will be difficult. Therefore, the idea to rearrange gas equipment in a less visible place will most often have to be abandoned.

The situation is much simpler if the boiler is only planned to be installed. Then you can find the best solution. Of course, taking into account all the same fire safety requirements. When placing the boiler inside the headset, the furniture is covered from the inside with foil or other materials. It is best to immediately specify when ordering a headset that it is exactly the product that is needed to mask heating devices.

The worked-out designs of cabinets are in the assortment of any self-respecting furniture factory. They are ideally matched to the rest of the products in the individual collections. But if you do not want to put the boiler into the closet, you can resort to decorating it with curtains.

This solution is ideal for old-fashioned country styles. In such an environment, additional textile accessories in the kitchen will be appropriate.

The procedure is different when the open boiler layout is selected. In this case, decoupage technique is often used for decoration. This technique includes covering surfaces with various stickers and varnishing. The original step is the imitation of fireplaces. Skillfully used decoupage allows you to turn even the ugliest item into a kitchen decoration.

When planning the arrangement of a small kitchen with a gas boiler, you might think about painting of heating equipment. By choosing the right drawing, you can easily decorate the room. But you can consider another option - decorating boilers with carved or forged gratings. These products fit perfectly into a variety of styles, the choice of which is determined only by the decor. But the grates are not simple decorations, they will also reliably protect children and pets from contact with open flames.

In some cases, boilers are not designed or masked at all. This solution fits very well in industrial style. We are talking about loft and high-tech styles. In the second case, it is even advisable to provide for the presence of a plurality of communication nodes.

You can easily pick up boilers today that look emphatically old-fashioned - they will fit into the retro style.

Thinking over the design of a kitchen-living room with a gas boiler, you need to immediately choose the same general style. In a classic room, it is completely unacceptable to expose household appliances to the public. The main camouflage technique is the location of the device behind the facade of the kitchen set. This solution combines external attractiveness and free circulation of air masses in the box. In addition, the lattice facades express the spirit of the classics and do not intrude into the style of the room.

But it is also important to remember about the ergonomics of the space. It is optimally ensured when the boiler is placed in a corner. Since kitchens can be decorated in the spirit of retro, country and Provence, you need to know how to arrange gas heating in such cases. A very common technique (especially for Provence and other types of country music) is disguising the device with a textile curtain.

Disguise textiles need to be selected the same color as the napkins or curtains in the room. This solution allows for perfect harmony. In most cases, curtains with a floral print are used. Different cage sizes are fine, too.

If the owners of the house are worried about maximum safety, they can put the boiler in the closet in the country-style kitchen too.

Disguise communications

Even when choosing a corner layout and using other methods of stylistic masking of the boiler, the room can remain unsightly.The problem is that pipes and other technical devices, which cannot be dispensed with, are also designed without much regard for design issues.

It is strictly forbidden to lay gas pipelines, not only into walls, but even into plasterboard casings. But it is quite possible to use a panel that is easily dismantled. An alternative solution is a monolithic panel with a door (window).

In some cases, the pipes supplying gas to the boiler are mounted behind the set. But then you have to move the lockers away from the wall. Otherwise, pressure on communications can be dangerous.

If the pipes are located at a corner and cannot be hidden, they will have to be painted or even patterned. And one more nuance: according to safety standards, it is better to place boilers on the walls in a small kitchen.

It so happens that a gas boiler is acquired some time after the installation of the headset. Then it is advisable to order lockers for him from the same manufacturer. This will allow you to stay within the general style. But when this is not possible (for example, the company has closed or does not fulfill such orders), you can use your own carpentry skills. In any case, there must be at least 0.03 m between the edges of the cabinet and the boiler, and therefore the box and the door are made with a margin of 0.06 m.

Examples of

This photo shows how a heating boiler can be placed in a separate "closet". A door made of graceful reddish wood looks brilliant and complements the entire composition of the kitchen. But you can also place the heater on the wall directly above the table. For greater safety and convenience, it is surrounded by a decorative box. They did not deliberately hide the communications, they simply entered the high-tech style.

And this is another option with a wall-mounted boiler. The designers tried to soften its presence as much as possible by using natural wood. The cabinet reliably hides both the heating device itself and the communications around it. Indoor flowers and skillfully selected accessories help bring the look of the kitchen even closer to traditional styles.

It is possible to visually dilute dark wood facades thanks to a white tiled apron.
