The native shade of hair does not always bring joy to its owner, and then the fair sex decides to change the color scheme. Classic milky shades always look fashionable and natural.

Who is it for?

Milky color is a pure white tone without any admixtures of yellowish, ash, pearl or any other shade.

Similar tones to the face of women of the Slavic type. They must be in harmony with the skin tone, face shape, match the type of appearance, image and style of a woman.

Beauty industry experts assure that pure milk colors will look best on ladies of the following types:

  • with very light, almost white, cold porcelain skin of an aristocratic pale shade without signs of blush, freckles and traces of sunburn;
  • happy owners of blue, blue and gray eyes;
  • with oval faces and deep expressive features.

Important: a pure milky tone emphasizes all skin imperfections - inflammation, acne, acne, as well as dryness, peeling and pigmentation. Therefore, for girls whose skin needs treatment, it is better to dwell on other shades.

You should not use a pure blond and ladies with large features and a full face - after toning, they will look rough. However, shades of milky - caramel, chocolate and milky blond are not so demanding.

Keep in mind that the milky color requires the appropriate "framing", women should wear it correctly: forget about bright makeup, put a black eyebrow pencil and red lipstick on the far shelf. With milky colors, nude shades, as well as blue tones, will be more appropriate. Restraint should be observed when choosing a wardrobe - otherwise you risk looking cheap and vulgar.

It is not easy to get a milky color, but it is just as difficult to completely change your image - but all your efforts, all any doubts, are worth it - the reward for them will be the freshness of the appearance and the effect produced on others.

Palette

Milky blond presented in several basic shades, this allows you to choose the optimal type of toning for different types of appearance.

Classic milky blond - the purest color scheme without signs of yellowness, golden and silver undertones. This shade is more reminiscent of a matte snow-white color, a slight shine is allowed.

Light milk chocolate (baked milk) - this tone is somewhere in the middle between brown and red tones. It looks especially stylish on the owners of fair skin and light eyes. But for girls with freckles, it is better to stay on other tones, for example, gold - they will make the face brighter.

Caramel - this milky shade with caramel notes can be a real salvation for owners of short or thin hair, as this tone makes hair more voluminous and lush. The shade is suitable for white-skinned and light-eyed ladies, allows you to make your eyes bright and expressive. In order to achieve this color scheme, preliminary bleaching is required, as well as neutralization of the red pigment.

Subtleties of painting

Depending on the desired shade, its saturation and depth, the fair sex can use synthetic and natural dyes. A distinctive feature of a milky blonde is that any hair, even blond, requires mandatory preliminary bleaching with subsequent toning. To minimize the harm caused by paints, it is necessary prepare hair before coloring - for example, a week before the procedure, apply caring oils to the hair at night, and rinse off in the morning.

It is best to paint in the salon, because with self-tinting, it is quite difficult to mix paints in such a way as to obtain a dazzling whiteness. In addition, when applied by an inept master, all toning defects will immediately catch the eye. Thus, instead of a luxurious milky blonde, you only get cheap yellowness.

Traditionally, two types of paints are mixed to obtain a milk color:

  • resistant, providing long-lasting effect and resistance to color washout;
  • semi-permanent, shading natural shade.

In the course of dyeing, paint is applied to the curls, and after a while the composition is washed off, after which the hair is tinted in order to give a natural shine and eliminate the yellowing effect.

According to consumer reviews, the highest quality paints from the "milk" series are:

  • caramel blonde 8-7 from Syoss;
  • Estel (professional series) - caramel blond;
  • Schwarzkopf Color Mask - tone golden chocolate 665.

To maintain the shade or give an interesting color scheme to naturally white curls, you can use tint shampoos, tonics and balms. Keep in mind that you won't be able to achieve light milky shades with them.

Some women prefer natural remedies based on kefir and lemon juice. However, their purpose is to give a shade and a slight lightening by half a tone. It is impossible to get a light milky tone from light brown and even more dark in this way.

Fashionable shades are often used for partial coloring and obtaining a "milkshake".

  • Ombre - Gradient transition from dark colors at the hair roots to light ones at the ends. Thus, you can achieve the effect of strands burnt out in the sun. For this coloration, a pure milky tone and caramel colors are usually used.
  • Highlighting - tinting of individual vertical strands.Usually used for coloring with caramel paints.
  • Balayazh - involves a change in the color of individual thin strands, and not along the entire length. Pure milk and caramel tones on light chestnut hair look very impressive.
  • Bronding - suggests a stylish combination of milk chocolate shades, with shades usually differing from each other. The principle of soft flow of tones from one to another is used

Care

Light tones usually stay on the hair for no more than 2-3 weeks, then the pigment begins to wash out, and an unpleasant yellowness appears. That is why milky blond hair needs special care:

  • once a week it is necessary to use tinted shampoos and tonics, this will give the hair gloss and maintain the basic tone;
  • do not forget that when dyeing, the hair went through discoloration, which means that the hair is injured and needs constant use of oils, balms, masks and all kinds of serums;
  • you can only use sulfate-free shampoos to wash your hair;
  • after dyeing, it is not recommended to do a perm earlier than 3-4 weeks;
  • try to minimize the use of irons, pans and hot curlers, and if styling cannot be avoided, be sure to use heat protection sprays.

Milky white is a very beautiful color that is not suitable for every woman. It is difficult to achieve a pure shade, and caring for it is a lot of hassle. But if you can get the desired color scheme without signs of yellowness, then believe me - the effect will be stunning!
