Beautiful girls of different nationalities are united by one desire - to be beautiful. One of the indicators of beauty is well-groomed hand nails.

A bit of history

Today, many women associate manicure exclusively with a decorative coating of nails. But since ancient times, this procedure meant, first of all, hand care. The date of occurrence of manicure can be called 3200 BC. During excavations of ancient burials, archaeologists have discovered golden manicure tools. In the 60s of the twentieth century, in one of the Egyptian burials, archaeologists identified a whole retinue of high-ranking manicurists.

The inhabitants of the Roman Empire, and then of other European states, were attentive to the state of their nails. The development of the art of manicure and the invention of the corresponding tools are associated with the illness of the French king Louis Philippe. The fact is that he could not get rid of the burr, which caused a lot of painful sensations. The famous doctor helped the king to cope with the problem. After this incident, Louis Philippe began to maintain the condition of his hands and nails in perfect condition. Imitation of a tall person contributed to the popularization of the manicure procedure among the population of Europe and the adjacent colonies.

At the beginning of the last century, the production of specialized manicure sets was put on stream. The owners of this business received considerable income from sales. In addition, the beginning of the last century was marked by the appearance of decorative coatings for nails.Of course, its characteristics were far from modern: the varnish was applied with a brush made of natural camel wool, and lasted no more than 24 hours on the nails.

After 30 years, the production of varnishes was modernized. Basecoats, a wide range of decorative varnishes and even topcoats were available. The varnish, which is the closest in composition to the modern coating, was invented by Charles Lashman in 1932. At the same time, the practice of pulling nails through the use of papyrus on the free edge appeared - the "Juliette system".

After another 30 years, the practice of nail extension leaped forward with the invention of acrylic. In the 70s, the nude period began, when sharp long beige nails were at the height of fashion. Just 6 years later, a jacket was opened, which has become a classic today. The author of this trend in the art of manicure is Jeff Pink.

French manicure

Natives of France resort to the services of nail masters very rarely. This is explained by the high cost of health treatments and the low quality of services. The average bill for a manicure without decorative coating is 25 euros. Most girls decorate their marigolds on their own. Most often they cover them with a monochromatic varnish of bright red or flesh color. The nails are not the traditional oval, but the square shape with rounded tips, the length of the nails is short. The cuticle is not trimmed, but pushed back (a tradition of European manicure).

American style nail art

The cost of a manicure in the USA can go up to $ 70, but the quality of work and tools leaves much to be desired. This is due to the nationality of the craftsmen - the Chinese, who strive to save money on every little thing. Craftsmen try not to use scissors so as not to injure the delicate skin of women's fingers. When decorating nails, bright coatings and extravagant designs are used. Logos, cool inscriptions are very popular. When decorating a festive manicure, American women use volumetric elements.

Manicure traditions in English

Nail artists in England are distinguished by conservative restraint. They try to make the nails as small as possible (they do not remove the cuticles, processes such as burrs), so as not to hurt the client, but at the same time they do not forget to take their due 60 euros for the procedure performed. Topping the top of the popular shades are varnishes of neutral colors, almost transparent. Fashionistas resort to moon manicure using the negative space technique (the hole is not painted over). This technique has an important aesthetic function: as it grows, the transition boundary between the hole and the coating will remain invisible. English girls wear nails of a natural length - short. The procedure for extending the nail plate is a thing of the past.

German nail art

German girls can hardly boast of the most beautiful manicure in the world on their nails. The fact is that German women are used to walking with short nails covered with dark shades of varnish. And the design of such nails does not pretend to be a leader, since the gradient technique and geometric patterns are mainly used. Nail art is very poorly developed in Germany. The quality of the manicure done (without cutting the cuticle and with quickly "peeling off" varnish) leaves much to be desired, but its price bites - up to 90 euros.

The art of nail healing in Japanese

Nail and hand care in Japan is at the highest level.

The manicure procedure includes:

  • giving the nails the desired shape and length;
  • pushing back the cuticle without cutting it;
  • relaxing hand bath;
  • coating of nails with gel with algae extract.

Among the trends in nail design: long sharp and almond-shaped nails, decorated with kamifubiki, sequins, rhinestones, interesting textures and abstract patterns.

Beautiful examples

Matte blue-gray manicure with rhinestones and colored pebbles in the form of a twig looks strict and at the same time very stylish.It is more appropriate to use these shades in the autumn-winter period. Knitted manicure is always in fashion. A dark crimson base color in combination with velvet patterns will give a feeling of comfort and warmth on cold autumn and winter evenings. You can't help but gaze at the lilac and white horizontal striped manicure. Thanks to the skillful work of the master on the subtlest transition from one shade to another, a 3D effect is created on the nails.

A nude shade of nails is always relevant. What could be more natural than it? But sometimes you want to highlight the marigolds a little in the abyss of everyday life. For this you need gold glitter. And to make the design of the nails look completely original, the round hole is transformed into a rectangle with white borders, filled with sparkles from the inside. This technique allows you to visually stretch short nails. Another option for nude manicure: applying sketches to the base tone (portrait of a woman, figure of a cat). Interestingly, the pattern can be extended over several nails. Incredibly long nails with voluminous elements and rhinestones will make people around you look after you.

The following 3 options for decorative design of marigolds look royally rich and pompous. In the first case, a luxurious look is created through the use of a black-white-burgundy palette and large stones. Burgundy is associated with royal robes, and complex black and white patterns - with layered outfits of court ladies. Rhinestones are present in large quantities not on one, but on 2-3 fingers on each hand. A noble silvery-white manicure on long nails looks festive, but at the same time restrained. The second fingers are decorated with silver glitter, and the third version of the manicure resembles quilted court sofas (ring fingers) and pendants with an opening lid, where, as a rule, photos of loved ones were worn (middle fingers). Graceful embossed lace, monograms - this is the best way to illustrate the atmosphere of court life.
