A wedding is a magical holiday that takes place in one breath. The entourage and emotional atmosphere of such a celebration is often truly mesmerizing. At each wedding there is a unique wedding ceremony and the introduction of guests from both sides of the young. At the holiday, everyone is entertained by a groovy toastmaster, and funny contests are held. The event differs only in the geography of its holding and belonging to a particular nationality.

Peculiarities

In modern times, more and more young people are striving to hold a celebration in a rural style. For city dwellers, this step is to follow tradition. Tired of the hustle and bustle, large banquet halls, the cortege cutting through the roads of the "stone jungle", young people strive to hold the main event outside the city, near the green nature.

It is noteworthy that in rural conditions it is considered more mysterious and original to hold ancient contests and ceremonies of great-grandfathers.

Considering a rustic wedding, the following features can be noted.

  • Usually such celebrations are held in the spirit of Provence, rustic or country. Retro is felt here in everything, country-style warm home accents, natural colors prevail.
  • In the summertime, the celebration is definitely held outdoors, amid natural decorations and an abundance of colors.

Menu and venue

The menu for a summer wedding is distinguished by an abundance of vegetables, fruits and berries. Often, modern, country-style events are complemented by buffets, where snacks and drinks are freely available, and only bread and hot meals are served at the refectory table. At the buffet stands, you can additionally beat the rustic atmosphere: serve caramelized apples, baked pies, corn, fresh rolls, and even jam and jam.

The celebration can be held in a cozy cafe in a rustic style or in the rural House of Culture, from where the eternal 90s breathes. The interior is saturated with arranged bouquets of dried flowers and banners made of linen flags.

The color palette in the interior is varied, rich and bright, you just need to know when to stop and not turn the atmosphere into a carnival. The rustic style, which is very popular today, presupposes the presence of warm tones: pink, beige, blue. This color is preferable in clothes for both young people and guests.

Images of the bride and groom

A summer wedding dress should resemble a light sundress in a romantic style. Linen, guipure, cotton are used in sewing clothes for the bride, chiffon and organza are present in the decor. It would be ideal to complement the image with a wreath of wild and garden flowers, greenery, mimosa twigs, wheat and rye spikelets. The bride's legs can be decorated with stylish ballet flats or sandals.

The image of the groom should also be approached carefully: the rural rustic and country styles are characterized by a loose shirt and suspenders, as well as a gingham vest. From shoes, you can pick up oxfords or topsides.

In the winter attire of the newlywed there should be no sequins or rhinestones. It is better to use an unobtrusive decor from the notes of embroiderers - delicate lace. The wardrobe should be insulated with a fur muff. Shoes are relevant in the form of shoes with a glass-heel. But if the bride often has to be in the fresh frosty air, it is better to dress warmly.

Boots, high fur boots, cowboy boots - all this will be in harmony with such accessories as a scarf in the same color scheme with high fur boots, a warm vest with a fringe.

The bouquet is selected in the winter theme: spruce twigs, rowan bunches, small flowers resembling snowflakes.

The suit for the groom is also insulated; for this, a dense fabric such as wool, velveteen is used. The outfit can be executed in modern colors, but with elements of antiquity. Deserts and brogues are suitable for shoes.

Entourage

In the case when young people want to fully recreate the atmosphere of a rural festival, they are advised to rent a spacious barn, arrange wooden cart wheels, small sheaves of hay, stumps, massive baskets made of vines, old instruments such as a button accordion and a gramophone, openwork tablecloths from "grandmother's reserves" and much another that will add the surroundings of village life.

In the interior of a rustic wedding, natural materials are used, such as wood, bark, cones, spruce branches, wheat spikelets - everything that can be borrowed from nature itself.

In the open air, you can arrange long wooden tables and cover them with linen tablecloths, scatter small sheaves of hay in the corners. Tables can be decorated with baskets with fresh flowers, old earthenware jugs, Khokhloma crafts, candlesticks, embroidered napkins, and much more from a rural theme.

Photozone

A photo zone at a wedding is a modern trend at events, a way to leave a beautiful memorable photo in a specific theme. A photo zone made in a rustic style sometimes amazes with creativity, despite the old message.

For example, a zone for high-quality commemorative photos can be created from the composition of old doorways, parts of the fence, decorated with flowers and curtains in lace.

Beautiful pictures are taken near village houses, in an open field with an abundance of sunflowers and wildflowers. Photos near rivers, ponds, streams will also be interesting.

Centuries-old customs

Wedding activities include ancient traditions and customs of the peoples, which have been handed down from generation to generation since ancient times. Many of the customs were done to ensure that newlyweds became familiar with their future family rights and responsibilities. Everything was humorous. Consider some of the customs of the Russian village wedding.

  • Such a newfangled concept as a bachelorette party, in the old days, was in the nature of a fun event with the singing of old ritual songs and ditties. At the same time, the groom and his friends were sitting at a laid table. After the meal, having collected gifts, the delegation headed by the young went to the bride.
  • Matchmakers and toastmaster sang the morning songs on the wedding day. At the bride's house, they sang from the very morning.
  • The redemption process, which is still relevant, is often used today. Only instead of traditional contests for the groom and his guests, in the old days the bride's relatives demanded a ransom, waving brooms and sticks.
  • An appetizing kurnik is an integral part of the Russian wedding table even today. Its appearance is a dome and is decorated with many figurines of people, animals, flowers.
  • Dances to Mead - incendiary performances of guests while drinking a traditional drink.
