When arranging a kitchen, they try to provide not only external attractiveness, but also comfort and excellent functionality. The approach to the design of each house is determined by its technical features. It is useful to consider what the design of the P-44 kitchen can be.

Peculiarities

The P-44 series is extremely widespread in Moscow. These panel houses are built more than any other type. Typically, the kitchen area in such apartments is 8.5 square meters. m, however, it must be taken into account that part of the usable space is absorbed by the ventilation duct. It is he who creates quite serious problems.

    Strictly prohibited by technical regulations:

    • move the box;
    • correct its device;
    • change the appearance of this element.

    You will have to definitely build a design concept around this box. It is absolutely impossible to ignore this element. Another important nuance when arranging kitchens is that you will immediately need to decide where to put the refrigerator. Heating pipes usually interfere in corners, and when installed close to ventilation ducts, the room is visually overloaded.

    Most often, refrigerators have to be placed right next to the windows.

    Arrangement and decoration of space

    For a two-room apartment in houses of the P-44 series, there are more options for decorating the space than in a one-room apartment. The fact is that the dimensions of the kitchens there are slightly larger than the usual parameters and reach 10 sq. m. But even on a relatively large area, it is very difficult to arrange all the necessary things. It is imperative to provide not only refrigerators, but also:

    • cookers with hoods;
    • washing and working areas;
    • dining tables (sometimes kitchen corners are used instead);
    • cabinet furniture.

    Experienced designers handle this challenge with confidence. And sometimes they even introduce a bar counter or unique decorative items into the kitchen to separate the zones. However, the critical parameter is the size of individual items. So, you can put only high, but not too wide refrigerators behind the door. To harmoniously solve the problem with ugly protrusions, you can:

    • cover them with natural stone or decorative plaster;
    • mask with cabinet furniture;
    • use as a plane for decoration;
    • turn the ledge into a zoning element of space.

    It is better to refuse radical transformations, especially those associated with redevelopment. Even the most decisive ideas for transforming the interior allow you to move plates and sinks, mixers only against the wall that was originally allocated for them. Transfer to other walls is strictly prohibited. To visually expand the space, you should apply:

    • glass shelves and countertops;
    • tiles and metal surfaces with a mirror effect;
    • ceilings and floors in light colors.

    However, it must be borne in mind that such surfaces will have to be cleaned and washed more often than conventional options. If the area is 10 sq. m, you can move the refrigerator outside the door, and arrange the rest of the space in a straight or angular pattern. Since in this case it is possible to save space less strictly, the protrusions of the ventilation shafts can be built into tables or cabinets with showcases or sheathed with impenetrable facades. This allows you to arrange the items you want vertically. There are various options - the hulls either go forward, or stand in one continuous line.

    The box can also be turned into a sideboard. It is usually performed in the form of a monolithic pencil case. It is also possible to use open (no doors) structures. Sinks are rearranged against short walls or integrated into corner tables. Sometimes they are left against long walls, close to ovens or hobs.

    But this solution has a very serious drawback - the useful workspace will be less. As for the introduction of bar counters into the interior, you can show almost unlimited imagination here. Vary:

    • geometric shapes;
    • width of structures;
    • stationary or mobile version;
    • installation in the form of an island or a peninsula.

    Some models of racks are equipped with roofs for drying dishes or are closed tightly with glass. Important: the bar element must not be mounted close to the ventilation protrusion. This will leave too little table space. If no other options are available, you should choose the smallest or folding racks.

    Sometimes a folding tabletop can replace a full-fledged table altogether - such a solution will look youthful and harmonious.

    Another option is a spectacular-looking closed piece. Yes, it will take up part of the useful space, but due to its versatility, you can refuse other furniture. To fully embody this idea, it is also advisable to merge the rack and the window sill together. Then the working space will be quite enough even for those who like to cook a lot and actively.

    Bar counters in the "peninsula" format can either repeat the design of other countertops, or contrast with them. The choice depends only on the preferences of the owners themselves. The "island" type is suitable only if the space is carefully thought out. To do this, you need to use shallow built-in furniture. The ledge is sewn up with facades, and the rack is used instead of a full-fledged ordinary table.

    No matter how attractive a certain option may seem in the description or in the picture, it must be weighed against your needs. All necessary items and areas of the room should be located as accessible as possible. Ideally, while standing at the workplace, people should take whatever they need by simply extending their hand. Verticals should be used as much as possible. To fill them out are used:

    • drying;
    • hanging cabinets for dishes, cereals, pasta;
    • shelves (open or closed);
    • crossbeams.

    The linear variant of furniture arrangement implies its placement against the longest wall. To beat the same duct, you don't have to use a bar counter. You can turn the box into a stand-alone element, ending with a bedside table. Important: the base of all pieces of furniture must be tapered. Only in this case will they harmoniously fit into the created environment.

    Separately, it should be said about the design of kitchens in the P-44T houses. They are equipped with a bay window, which increases the total area to 13.2 m2. Since the box has been moved to the corridor, the kitchen almost corresponds to a perfect square. In bay windows, you can place, according to your choice:

    • dining area;
    • recreation area;
    • winter garden;
    • sports block;
    • a modest cabinet.

    In the houses of the P-44 and P-44T series, it is recommended to design kitchens according to the classic scheme. The austere, outwardly expensive interior expresses the taste of the owners very convincingly. It is recommended to give preference to light colors that push the walls apart. The hearth area is decorated with a color accent. On request, the walls are covered with different materials and painted in different colors.

    Headsets are usually ordered with white fronts. Ideally, they should be of the corner type, with rounded edges. In the premises of modernist style they use:

    • glossy facades;
    • ceramic tiles on the floor (no linoleum or laminate);
    • white plaster;
    • patterned aprons;
    • juicy color accents.

    Additional recommendations

    In the kitchen of the houses of the P-44 project with an air duct, it is strongly recommended to use not ordinary, but corner furniture. It is she who, in any case, should be placed in the gap between the wall and the box. Experts note that measuring distances in this place should be done as carefully as possible. To get rid of sharp corners, it is advisable to choose designs with radial facades. This solution, among other things, also allows you to remove the characteristic discomfort associated with the atypical layout of the space.

    The designers note that worktops with smoothly curved edges are becoming a very good choice. These edges seem to "hug" the ventilation shafts. Therefore, there is no need for a scrupulous search for the optimal placement of furniture. But if the task is to make the most of the usable area, you will have to choose a headset for a long time and carefully. The dimensions of all its parts must be multiples of the length and width of the shaft.
